Knitting on Long Looms
The pictures of the loom and the stitches were shown large enough to be very explicated. That is such a big help and the directions were all very easy to understand. I would recommend this book to anyone starting loom knitting. It is such fun doing the loom knitting, both the long loom and the circular one.I am making hats and scarfs for the children at my daughter's school and have gotten my lady friend hooked on the looms and she is also making them. Everything you make on these looms turns out beautiful.Thank you for this book.

Fabulous!!
I LOVE this book. I've been working my way through each type of stitch and the directions are very easy to follow. I haven't gotten around to making any of the projects in the book, but the projects look great and they are actually things that I would use/make for a gift. The only downfall is that when I'm done knitting a certain stitch it doesn't look as it does in the picture. I'm using the correct weight of yarn, so that shouldn't affect it, but my stitches just are as tight as the photo graphs. However, this may just be a beginner's problem. Otherwise, the book is great!

Great Informational Loom Knitting Read!
I love this book. Its very detailed and it gives you a lot of patterns. What I kinda wish this book had was more simple patterns and explanations. I've never crocheted or knitted....and while loom knitting was my first 'knitting' project I don't know a lot of the simple terms, etc. I can't even read the patterns very clearly...I guess I would have liked more explanation of reading their patterns because they are written so strange.Overall this book gave me some new projects and a better understanding of loom knitting, including some new stitches I have been able to try and apply to other projects.

Excellent
This is an excellent book. It explains well and the pictures are great too. I am a novice at loom knitting, so I was very happy to get some clear instructions. The instruction booklet that comes with the Martha Stewart knitting loom were horrible. I returned that product. This book, however, is much smaller than I anticipated. Don't know why, but I expected it to be a thicker book. But that's ok because it is a very good book. I haven't tried to follow the instructions yet to use the loom, but I am sure I can follow this book without a problem.

A must for every loom knitter !
I bought this book because I misplaced my original book that I had, so this is a replacement. This book is very detailed and it shows you how to loom knit on long looms, how to start and what stitches are what and how to make those stitches, the only flaw is does not teach you how to remove or end a project. That you can do online, if you do some research. This is a must for every loom knitter no matter what stage you are. Great reference book!

excellent guide
This book gives very clear directions for using a long loom. It has made it possible for me to help some people with disabilities to learn to use the long loom. I think that the long loom is easier for some people to use than the circular loom, once the threading process has been learned. The clear and detailed photographs are key to setting up the long loom, learning to use it. I am most grateful to the author and publisher for this book. Thank you.

Disappointed, Too Expensive
This book was a huge disappointment for me. I have been making hats for a charity group. One of the ladies taught me to use the circle loom. I became addicted to it. Then I thought I would stretch my understanding of loom knitting and started making washcloths on the long loom. That got me curious to other stitches I could try. That's when I found this book. I even decided to spend my hard earned cash on it.Mistake. There are so many books out there that are anywhere from free to just a small price. This one was nearly $10. Yet the pictures are fewer than one needs to learn a new skill. The written instructions didn't include enough true step-by-step clues to help the learner understand. And the number of patterns in the book were so few it just wasn't worth the money.STILL, I will keep it and when I feel ready to try again I may see if it has something more than I found with my first attempt. There seem to be a lot of people who love this book so it might work for you, too.

Informative
If like me you have never used a knitting loom before, it gives good how to do info. Bit disappointed that only straight knitting like scarves were given though as I'd like to have had some childrens knitted tops.

Very good book on Long Loom Knitting
The book "Learn to Knit on Long Looms" by Annie Bipes starts with explaining the terminologies used for loom knitting. Casting the yarn, how to make the stitches, finishing the cast-on edge and binding off and to remove knitting from loom are all explained well with supporting pictures, which is what newcomers find helpful. There are 17 projects, out of which 5 are for beginners. But for doing these projects, you need to have a Long Loom and the instructions are very clear for using a long loom.
