EBCBrakes DRC231 Dirt Racer Clutch

TW200 on/off clutch never seemed right and slipped at higher revs even though free play was correct, I bought the bike with 11,000 miles but I have heard similar complaint with stock clutch even on very low mileage TWs. The EBC works great, now friction zone feels like it should and doesn't slip. Very pleased.

Bought a TW200 that had obviously sat awhile, if I was pinching pennies I would have just deglazed the existing plates. I have a habit of buying backup and then just making due, but I had torn my gasket and needed to open it up so I threw these in and have to say I am a happy camper. Took the time I saved to write a couple reviews since I rely heavily on what I read here.

Fit my 2010 Yamaha TW200 with no issues and shifts smooth. NOTE: You will need to soak the new discs with the engine oil you use for THREE HOURS is what the instructions say, I usedThe package that the kit came in and it takes under 1/2 quart to cover them fully

Bought this for an XT225 because some other sites list this product code as compatible. The plates are the same but there is one fewer steel and friction. I will have to reuse two of my old plates. Still a good deal based on the other options out there for an XT225

Better performance in what came on the bike

This was a great price to get a complete clutch kit with springs. Installed on my TW200 and it is sooooooooooo much easier to ride now. Great feel and positive engagement. Even is your clutch is not slipping, you should consider this for a cheap and worthwhile upgrade.

Just as ordered and once installed bike runs like new. No sliipping. It even seems more responsive than on my other newer TW.

The clutch kit looks good. Now I have to put it in. It took a few weeks to get but I wasn’t in a panic for it now that it is winter.
