very useful for safety
i used to use these on my motorcycles, but had the idea to use it on the third brake light of my truck and worked great, people ask all the time was it a factory option. I have also seen people wiring these to thier backup lights which is a great idea that i might do. these are great for added safety to any auto.

3rd times the charm
This was the 3rd time I ordered a brake light flasher module from Amazon in a weeks time. The 1st, installed correctly but did not work properly (different brand). It worked perfectly fine when stepping on the brake with the car off but when the car was running, the brake light flickered and did not stay solid. The second try (from this brand) arrived but had the wrong item in the package. I figured I would try a 3rd time before I struck out. This one arrived and was installed within 15 minutes. All appears to be working properly. I used connectors to be able to reverse the process if there be a need in the future. Works as advertised. If you are not sure which one to purchase, buy this one to be cautious as it covers both LED and incandescent bulbs at varying watts / volts.

But...Can it handle 5 amps?
I had this product for over three months now and I haven't had any issues with it, besides one thing that I will explain later on. I bought the Brake Pulse X +60. I posted a picture with the measurements of this product so you will know how big they are. It flashes three times quickly, followed by another three slower flashes and then the lights stay on. I installed them on my motorcycle, a Yamaha V-Star 650. Of course, I had to change out the old incandescent light bulbs to LEDs so everything would work properly. The installation was very straightforward. In my motorcycle, I cut a yellow wire, which turns on the brake light, and connected them to the OUT red wire. The IN red wire was connected to the other yellow wire that was cut. The black wires both go to negative.Be very careful about how your wires are joined to prevent loose connections. Otherwise, you will make the mistake I did. I had thought the module stopped working after a while, and I had planned to return them. It turns out the problem was a bad connection. That being said, there is only one thing that really concerned me about this product. I bought the version that supposedly can handle up to 60 watts. Doing the math, W = V×A, we know that the maximum current that can handle is 5 amps. But, do they? I honestly doubt it. The reason is the thin wires. I would guess they are 20 or 22 gauge wires. Doing a quick search, it is recommended that at a minimum an 18 gauge wire is used when there is a load of 5 amps. Of course, we are taking into account the maximum specifications of the module, but it still makes you think about the quality of this product and the electronics inside it. By reading the reviews, that could explain why someone had their flasher module burned unexpectedly.I know that the LEDs that I installed consume less than 5 amps. However, be sure to measure the load that you're going to connect this module to with a multimeter so you avoid runnning into problems.

Works flawlessly.
I have installed these in twoi vehicles so far. The first is a 2000 Ford F350 and the second a 2022 Mazda CX-5 Turbo. Both operate as expected without any interference with the factory electronics. The flash pattern is extremely attention-grabbing, which is the whole point in this day and age of people looking down at their phones while driving. This is my go-to 3rd brake light flasher module.

The Difference between the XP-60 and the FastFlash 60
I have a few Bikes so I ordered both the Fast Flash and XP-60 simply because they do not explain the difference in the two, so I will do it here. The XP-60 will allow your break light or any light to flash when activated. The Flash sequence is slightly different or seems to be slightly different than the Fast Flash. The XP-60 has 1 quick flash followed by 3 quick Blinks, followed by 3 slightly longer blinks then a nice steady on. The XP-60 is in no way a frantic flasher, it is noticeable and will get the attention of the people behind you, just not startle them. The Fast Flash, is just That a FAST very Fast Flash. Activate and it is very Rapid (2-3 times faster then the XP-60) 3 burst, then 3 flashes much like the XP-60 first the flashes, then it Stays a strong steady break light. The Fast Flash is a Frantic attention getting flasher!!!! It will wake people up behind you!!! It will annoy them for sure if they are following you in steady traffic.Installing them was very easy, Follow the fire harness from your tail light to where it connects into the main wire harness, you will be able to unplug your tail light there. You should have 3 wires, power, ground and break light. Power is for the constant on part of the tail light, the break wire is the one your looking for as well as the ground. The Flasher unit is clearly marked In and out on both sides and has 2 wires on both sides. Hook the (+) to the power wire and the (-) to the ground. Turn on the key to the bike and your light should look normal. Squeeze the break and you should get the flashing sequence before it stays a steady on bright break light. I add two small LED marker lights below my plate, so they will flash in and stay steady on while my break light will operate normally. So you can add up to 60 Watts of lights with these little boxes, or a bunch led lights (because they use almost no power) The whole wiring process is super simple and will take just a few minutes if you are just using your break light. If you are adding lights like me, then of course it will take a bit more time. They do supply you with some really strong double back tape to mount this tiny box where ever you have room. The box size is very small, maybe 1/2 to 1/3 credit card and 1/3 inch thick. it is smaller than it looks, so you will have plenty of places to locate it, even on race bikes. They work well, I will post a couple of videos when I get them both hooked up on the bikes. Again I added two marker LED's to my bikes, which I purchased from Superbright LED.com. They also sell here on Amazon.
