These will absolutely not last forever, and it's not the manufacturer's fault - if you're using synthetics, no one has figured out yet how to prevent them from getting that hook at the tip and degrading in general more quickly than the high-quality natural brushes, including the high-end kolinsky sables.It's also possible to get this entire set for less than the price of a single Winsor and Newton or Raphael sable. I'm quite a fan of the shorter handles. I wouldn't want it for every single brush I own, but it's a nice bit of variety. The brush size markings seem a bit inconsistent, but considering you're getting a set of 15, it's different than ordering, say, a single size 0 and getting something that feels more like a 1. Big name / high end brushes have plenty of variance between companies anyway.I'd still recommend investing in 1 or 2 kolinsky sables for daily drivers if you find you enjoy painting, but this seems like a reasonable introductory set that can be relegated to messier, more damaging tasks as they start to fall apart.I'm a fan of the 'flats' in the set, and those should last you the longest.

I waited a couple of weeks to do this review so that I'd have a feel for the product. First of all I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the carrying case was. I did some detailed watercolors and acrylic paints and found these to be really nice for that type of work. I did tiny tree branches, a little script, and some other small lines, and these held up well. Cleaning them was easy and they feel good in the hand, though shorter than my other brushes. A couple of brushes had a few bristles sticking out to the side of the covers, but this did not hinder anything and I cut one or two off that wouldn't come back together with water. These are actually better than the individual detail brushes I've bought at art stores.I think these brushes are great, especially for the price.

my wife gets her nails professionally done and unfortunately my granddaughter loves to have her nails done but can’t get her nails done with my wife. So I get my wife’s left over nail polish and use them to mimic her nails on my granddaughters’ . I use these brushes to paint the intricate designs after the base coat. She loves the time we spend together and showing off her nails. The brushes are fine enough and do a better job than the brush in the nail polish bottles. I know this is not what they were intended for but they are perfect for this task. The only negative I have is that they are hard to clean .

I've purchased other detail brushes from Amazon in the past, and they were okay, but these work great with my fluid acryics. The bristles are soft and hold a ton of paint. They're easy to control for accurate fine detail work, and hold up nicely. They're easy to clean and maintain their shape nicely. If you paint with watercolor, inks or fluid acryics....give these a go. You'll be stoked!The customer service from the ladies at Virtuoso was kinda mind blowing. As soon as my brushes were delivered, I received an email asking if my brushes were delivered okay, and if I was satisfied with my purchase. I mentioned that a few of the brushes had some lite fraying, and within a few days, I received a new set of brushes in perfect condition. No question asked! Talk about honoring you lifetime warranty.

Great product, awesome company. I was impressed with the paintbrushes and would have rated them with a 4.5 only because two were damaged during the shipping process. However, their customer service is exemplary. I was emailed the day I received the brushes to which I responded that while I really liked them two were damaged. I was shipped replacements within days. Therefore, I now would rate them a 10 but that is not an option. The paint brushes are exactly what I was looking for: they wash up well, they retain their shapes. I paint at least two hours every day, and that is only if I can't come up with an excuse to paint for four or five. So, the brushes get a lot of use. Not only do I recommend these brushes, I would recommend this company. I will look to see if they have the products to fulfill any of my studio needs before I look elsewhere.

It's important to bear in mind that with this affordable and accessible price, you should not expect the finest craftsmanship as seen in professional painting brushes that cost a small fortune, but you will get great value and reliability with these brushes. If quality over economy matters more to you, then I suggest you should purchase a more expensive set of brushes. But if quality and economy go hand in hand, then I would urge you to consider this brush set.

My favorite paintbrushes and I've got so many. I bought these in 2017. My sister just asked what the name of these are because we have paint parties and everyone wants to use these. I had to go look them up and realized I had not given them a review when I bought them. They are the only brushes that haven't shed with daily use. I paint every day and I use these every day. That should tell you something. I've bought other brushes for other effects because I need bigger ones or whatever the reason but these are the ones I use for the sizes that these are. They are dependable. Capi's stamp of approval!

This was an amazing set of high quality fine brushes! I had trouble finding a set of brushes that would work for fine detail with water colors, and these ones are amazing! Seriously great quality, and the carrying case is amazing. The bristles were fine, and seem to be great quality (won’t fray as a easily as far as I can tell). Overall, it is a good set of brushes for the price.

J'ai été agréablement surpris à l'ouverture de leur housse qui, d'ailleurs, constitue une bonne protection car semi rigide avec fermeture zip. Ces pinceaux sont de petite taille, excellents pour le traçage ou les détails, sont bien finis, la virole est bien sertie. Je ne sais pas quelle sera leur durée de vie car je les utilise pour la peinture à l'huile, mais je suis content de mon acquisition. Je les recommande à toute personne qui recherche ce genre de matériel.

Die ersten Versuche, mit den feinen Pinseln dünne Linien in Öl zu malen, sind einwandfrei gelungen. Mal sehen, wie lange die Pinsel halten. Bis jetzt sieht es gut aus. Bemerkenswert und äußerst amüsant zu lesen sind die Übersetzungen aus dem wohl Koreanischen ins Deutsche.
