I recently purchased the AWERT 36x24 inches Stone Aquarium Background in Black Rock for my 40-gallon fish tank, and I'm absolutely delighted with it. The vinyl material is high-quality and durable, and the rocky texture provides a realistic depth that transformed my aquarium instantly. Installation was straightforward—I used double-sided tape to secure it, and it stayed perfectly in place.My fish appear more vibrant against this background, and the dark stone look gives a natural and calming environment for them. Additionally, it's easy to clean and maintain, which is a bonus.Highly recommend to anyone looking to elevate the appearance of their aquarium or terrarium with minimal effort!

I thought this was a joke when I opened the package. This fabric is see-through, cheaply made, extremely fake looking, and not to mention, NOT made for aquariums, as advertised (aka false advertising). Aquariums get wet frequently.. and when this fabric gets wet it will start to smell of mold and mildew. Not even worth the time and gas to take it to a return favor. Worst background ever, would not recommend.

I wanted to rescape my 75 gallon tank and bought this for the background. It arrived with 4 stickies for the corners and instructions for installation and flattening. I did end up ironing it as suggested by the instructions as it was creased from being folded. The creases came out easily and it fit well on my 75 gallon. It wad a little longer than needed, but this allowed me to adjust the image as I wanted. I did end up adding 2 more pieces of tape to help keep this flat on the back instead of bubbling. I had no issues with coloration- its a nice black and I'd buy again!

This is some sort of fabric and not the normal plastic roll. I already had sea view so I tried using that to adhere it (because the worst that could happen is if have to get another) and that would work if I had about a hundred bottles. The fabric didn't stain it get ruined but it just drinks the liquid it seems. I ended up using oil and that worked well. I would think Vaseline would work very well too.The background itself is very nice. Good printing... the fabric or whatever it is is a really nice quality too 👌

My fault for not reading the full description and reviews, but this is a fabric that is attached with 4 peices of double stick tape, not a glossy poster type. The print resolution is very low and the shadows and rock blend together. The image used in the listing looks crisp with defined shadows and rock edges... the print quality on the fabric is horrible.

Where to start? I guess it's my fault for not reading the description closely enough but I saw "vinyl" and assumed it would actually be vinyl, as in, a peel-and-stick decal like most aquarium backgrounds. Instead it's this ultra-creased fabric that was SO HARD to get flat, and it doesn't fit right unless you get it very flat. The included double-sided tape is also an absolute pain in the butt - it is very hard to peel and stick cleanly and you can tell it's there once the background is mounted. I really like the design of this so I'm pretty upset that the implementation is so bad. Also, it's too long for a normal 10G aquarium and must be trimmed, but that's small potatoes compared to everything else.
