I bought little stairs and painted them then added garland for extra flare. The door itself is great and opens well which was the point. The wreath was tragic but what was I expecting honestly. The boots are adorable. If you have a pet, i would tape the little tree and presents down so they dont knock them down when they are sniffing around like my husky.I dont fancy elf on shelf because moving around a stuffed human looking doll just seems creepy. So to give my 4 year old gbaby a little christmas magic I had my granddaughter put Hershey kisses out one night where I planned on putting the door next to the Christmas tree and told her I heard it summons an elf door.After I set up the door I made sure to un wrap a piece of chocolate and leave little foils and crumbs on the stairs. She was so excited. Now every night she leaves the elf a a chocolate. I also move the boots in diff spots by the door every night. I plan on leaving a little ring or necklace for her by the door on Christmas eve with a little elf note thanking her for feeding him/her all month.I wanted to start a new tradition with my first grandbaby, and wanted it to be different while omitting creepy and elf on a shelf. (For context, yes i am weird but the woody and buzz dolls my boys had when they were younger still freak me out lol)

Bought this as the secret passageway out scout elf used to make her way back and forth to the North Pole. My daughter flipped out. It’s very good quality and has a lot of detail and superior craftsmanship for such small items.

This little set is so cute. We had so much fun with it. Everything was as expected. Nothing negative. I would recommend.

Product is a great idea, the door knocker and handle did come off easy but had to re-glue them back on. Other wise was a hit for the holiday.

It was perfect for our Elf on the Shelf escapades at Christmas. Our son was so happy when it appeared.

Totally adorable and my daughter loved the set. Unfortunately she did knock the door over and it shattered. I fixed it but she was really upset. Just needs to be a little sturdier otherwise it’s great. Next year I may command strip it but am still worried about it breaking taking it down
