Blessing the Next Generation: Creating a Lasting Family Legacy with the Help of a Loving God

Great teaching. One of the greatest gifts we can give our children in this nation and in our families is our blessing. Many times we overlook some of the greatest examples the bible records such as the spoken blessing God's people gave their children. The Hebrew people of the Old Testament carefully chose their children's names according to the blessings they bestowed on their lives. They spoke blessings over their children and invoked God's blessings on their lives. Nahum 1:9 also records that nothing can break or destroy the power of that blessing.

I am very fond of Marilyn Hickey books and this book is no exception. She has an engaging writing style that makes you want to keep reading. As for Blessing the next generation she did quote some things put in her Breaking Generational Curses book. Overall its another book from her I will keep.

Gave this to my son who had read the first book. Many generational curses on the family from all sides. The first book highlighted these generational curses, and this book is a practical handbook on how to change, with God's help.

I really love the book and am using it in 2013 for a church theme. 2013 year of generational blessings. Have plans to work thorough the entire book and watch God bless
