Very Fun Game
This game has been a great time. The players work together but need to be quiet, unless they get the gossip, in which case they can talk all they want! Cards are oddly sized but shuffle well. One negative is you can deal and lose (or win) immediately. Overall, with the groups I've played with, we have a very high winning ratio, so it works well. The one other disadvantage is it requires a lot of reading of the various cards, and some memory of what you have done would help. My 82 year old mom didn't understand the game, but I've played with others down to 16 and they've loved it.Overall, highly recommended. Good eyes are a plus!

A little confusing but rather amusing
I love how this is a collab game. And there are times where we had many questions about how certain cards function in turn and out of turn and if effect cards could be played and tossed into the discard pile or if certain cards exist indefinitely like the Gossip.Over all this is a fast game about 1-15 minutes. Sometimes less than a minute because some cards just fit together very well at try begin and make you lose or win.Have fun!

Funny, BUT
I'm pretty sure we beat the odds in every possible way. We shuffled and cut the deck, placed the murderer and detective cards as directed...and 3 - THREE - times *in a row* had the murderer and informant cards show up together in someone's hand (meaning we won the game by dealing it, no playing). We had two people shuffle, another cut, placed the two cards carefully and dealt as randomly as a person can while one smart aleck says "maybe we will end up losing with the Murderer and Witness cards in someone's hand as it's dealt next"...guess what happened? Yeah, the murderer and witness cards were in someone's hand on the deal. We were playing with a group of 7 people. It's like Solitaire when you shuffle it, deal it, and end up with no moves only to deal it again. I am positive we broke some kind record...at least we laughed - albeit at the outlandish odds of it all.We have played 8 times in total, I'm just stumped at the odds of it happening at all, let alone in a row.The instructions don't say what to do if the murderer and detective cards end up in the same hand (we had this happen once). Play the Detective and make yourself discard the Murderer card, but it might have been good to mention it in the rules. Also the Imposter (I think it was the imposter card, sorry this one I'm fuzzy on) and Murderer cards, the person wasn't sure what to do - couldn't play either card nor pass anything since neither card said gave passing as an option. The "read the card and do what it says" idea is good, but there are some oddball circumstances that require more fleshing out in the instructions.

Fun
I haven’t played a game like this before. My group of friends enjoyed the strategizing and cooperative nature of this game. Something you can play again and again.

Kinda challenging to learn
This took me and my friends (all experienced with a variety of games and well-educated adults) a few rounds to get the hang of. There's a lot of small details in the gameplay that can be challenging. I wouldn't recommend for playing with children simply due to the complexity. It is a collaborative game where all of the players are working towards the same objective and you either all win or all lose. I didn't find the game very fun and I doubt another round will be played at game night.

Great Gift
I thought that this game looked so fun that I bought it for my murder mystery loving sister on two separate occasions. The fact that I can’t remember what I’ve given as presents is my own fault, but clearly they’re doing something right if this is the gift I decided on not once but twice.
