Travelon Anti-Theft Active Tour Bag

I have an upcoming trip to Europe. I love the Travelon bag I already have from a trip five years ago. I use it daily, but wanted something that would hold a water bottle. I have actually purchased and returned a lot of bags from Travelon and Baggallini in my quest for the perfect day bag. This bag is it. It's RFID protected, slash proof and the material is light weight. It has a compartment on the side that lays against your body for the really important stuff. Travelon's Heritage line is made of a heavier material, so I had to return one of those.

My first Travelon bag was the Travelon Anti-Theft Classic Mini Shoulder Bag, Chocolate and while the bag is a great size for day trips it is lacking a spot for a water bottle and this drove me crazy during a trip to Washington, DC. My second bag was the Travelon Backpack,Black. Again I love the size of this day trip backpack. It has great features and a spot for an umbrella and water bottle. I am a fairly short person and this bag was not too big for me but I did get hot while carrying it. Also if you plan on visiting museums you may have to lock up the backpack in a locker. I just purchased the Travelon Anti-Theft Active Tour Bag and I think I will be the best of both worlds. It has the space like the backpack but is a crossbody bag so hopefully I will not get over heated while carrying it and I did not have to lock up my crossbody in museums. . I was also able to fit my CamelBak eddy 20oz Vacuum Insulated Stainless Water Bottle in the pocket with no problems. I am going to test it out in Las Vegas before taking it on my next overseas trip.

The Travelon anti-theft travel bag will be the sure way to keep you money, credit cards, passport safe as you travel. There is double and triple security if you take the time to zip and use the anti-theft clips that are on the bag. If worn properly, in front of your torso, it will eliminate any pick-pocketing or grab and run tactics. not meant to be a shopping bag, but there is ample room for a 12 oz water bottle, sunglasses, money, credit cards/driver's license/medical and rx cards, passport, a small compactable umbrella or poncho, and some room to to spare for some make-up or a small purchase. We toured in Europe for two weeks and it was the perfect bag for that purpose. Not extremely stylish but I would choose safety over style for travel requiring a passport. I do not think that there is RFID blocking, that would definitely be a plus if added; otherwise you can purchase elsewhere and use the small, affordable rfid card protectors.

I was not expecting this bag to be so large. It also seems to have fewer pockets that I was expecting. If you drop something in, it is impossible to find. No wonder they give an attached light. It should be great for traveling - the locking zippers are super great. It should label which parts of the bag are RFID since I can't tell by looking at it. When we go on trips, I will use this bag at least part of the time. I will take my old, smaller bag for everyday use during the trip. It will be very hard to get accustomed to carrying this bag. If you are used to a large handbag than by all means get this one. It is sturdy and very safe for traveling.

Bought this in anticipation of European cruise. It is well constructed with clips that prevent easy opening of the zipper. Has RF protection pocket for credit cards. Has a inside tag with a clip for keys and a small flashlight which is nice. Also has holder for water bottle. It’s expensive for what it is but you get what you pay for.

Really like this purse and it was extremely well used when traveling in Spain and Portugal. This purse is large enough to hold a cell phone, camera, wallet, sun glasses with case, tissues and hand sanitizer water bottle or umbrella, just to name a few items. The only issue is if you are using this purse everyday and have heavy items your neck will be sore. I used this purse for 12 days straight with long days of 12-13 hours. I did alternate which side of my neck when crossing the strap over me, which helped. Loved the fact that the zippers can be locked. And the strap itself. Very roomy and would recommend this purse to anyone traveling to known high crime areas. It would be great if the strap had additional padding to help relieve your neck.

This is my second bag. I just love it! I originally bought it for a trip and loved it so much that is is my everyday purse now.

I bought this for travel to Portugal & Spain. I was a little skeptical, because it was advertised with a male model; but had all the specs I needed in a travel bag. This is definitely an androgynous bag and I love it! The side pocket zips open to carry my water bottle. I was concerned it would only hold a small plastic water bottle, but not the case! I was concerned it might be too small, but my mini iPad fits perfect! There are plenty of pockets to keep everything organized. Passport, drivers license, phone, etc, fit neatly in their own compartments. And, it is theft protected against credit card scanners and identity theft, who can walk past you and steal your identity by scanning your bag. I heard that this is common in Spain. And, you can't beat the price! This is a great value and I highly recommend this bag!
