Good concept but I was recently locked out of my house. Had to the back door where I had this locked into. Knowing I was going to break the frame, I slammed the door with my shoulder. Door gave away so easy and the frame was fine. But the metal on the lock was bent like it wasn’t even a thing. Kinda disappointed

THE ONE THAT WE MESSED WITH IS VERY TIGHT AND HARD TO MANIPULATE IF YOU HAVE HAND ISSUES, LIKE TENDONITIS, ARTHRITIS, TRIGGER FINGER/THUMB, ETC....I'M GOING TO MESS WITH IT SOME MORE AND GIVE AN UPDATE AFTER INSTALLING A COUPLE OF THESE AND ANOTHER STYLE ON VARIOUS DOORS AROUND THE AREA.I BELIEVE THIS WILL HELP SLOW AN INTRUDER DOWN IF INSTALLED CORRECTLY ! MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING AT LEAST 3 INCH SCREWS GOING INTO DOOR FRAME! (PLEASE DO THIS WITH ALL OF YOUR LOCKS AS WELL, TAKE THE 1/2 INCH SCREWS OUT AND REPLACE W/3-4 INCH SCREWS, AND MAYBE DO SAME WITH THE HINGES!OR DOOR FRAME KITS!) I STRONGLY RECOMMEND PEOPLE STATION HOME MADE OR OTHER DETERRENTS OR PRODUCTS IN VARIOUS PARTS OF THEIR HOME AS LOCKS ONLY KEEP THE HONEST PEOPLE OUT!IN GOD WE TRUSTWWG1WGA

I love my door...with that being said....I didn't feel it was secure enough. I didn't want a double deadlock due to needing a key to lock from the inside. This is perfect! Yes...a hood rat probably could break the class but it'll be difficult coming in without opening the door. 6 inch screws and this lock prevents kicking in the door. There's no way they'll figure out how to get the door open with this lock either. Once it locks...it stays locked! I put them on my front and back doors. These would also be great for campers

Well, the 3 pack for my selection is a returned product that only includes one sets of screws. It uses 3 in long screw for secure installation, thus I have to find extra screws to finish the installation.If you got a 3 pack new with enough long screw, it is a best-buy.This style of door lock is much more expensive than old style chain latch. It also won't allow door to be half opened. However the easy to use and sturdy makes it worth the switch. Highly recommended.Note there is a small notch for easy sliding. Not all similar products has that notch.
