Would recommend
Bought a car and there was the prong from the aux cord stuck in the port and I tried literally EVERYTHING to try to get it out before I bought these.. ended up finally getting it out with this.Liked the fact that it came with more than one because I had to use pliers to squeeze it and ruined it.

It works!
After reading the reviews I debated taking my tablet in to a professional versus trying this. I’m so glad I gave it a shot.Tube 1: On my first attempt I think I was a little too unsure how far to tap in the tube. I tried multiple times using the same tube but, when I pulled the tube with pliers the broken jack didn’t seem to budge. In addition I ended up bending the top of the tube when banging it into the port.Tube 2: with a fresh tube (don’t know if this made a difference but it was the short tube) I was a little less tentative and banged the tube several times lightly but firmly into the jack port. I used needle nose pliers to get as close to the point where the tube disappeared into the port as possible. I squeezed firmly and felt the tube collapse a little. I moved the pliers to the same place on the tube but at an angle where the tube was still a little rounded and tugged again wiggling slightly. I was a little shocked when the tube released from the tablet and the jack was wedged successfully in the (now bent) tube.Very happy I took the risk with this purchase.

Didn’t Work!
We did everything it says to do, and it didn’t work no matter how many times we tried. Very frustrating!

Worked great! So fast!
This really works!! I had tried many different solutions and a lot of time trying to get a broken piece out of my son’s iPad. I bought this tool and had it out in less than a minute! I would definitely recommend this product!

Worked but it needs some twist.
The tool worked but, the material is too soft to retain the required pressure to pull the broken plugs in the headphone jack. On my end to make it work it was required to put a small twist to create the missing pressure since the toll will expand failing to contract against the plug. In other words, the spring effect is totally missing. This is understandable since the space left on between the plug and the jack's wall if thousandth of an inch wide. Still the tool needs to be of better quality. For those coming around for this tool, keep in mind that this are electronic level tools. Hammering and banging with heavy objects like other mentioned in their post, will effectively damage the tool. Consider tapping the tool gently until it wraps around the plug. Some experience as a electronic tech or at lease the basics of it is needed in order to determine when the tool has reached the bottom of the jack. Trying to pass this point it will bend the tool. Also understanding how the tool works goes a long way to make it work. Going all haywire on the tool will not help at all.

Did exactly what I needed!
Just like the instructions said, carefully push into port around the broken piece, pinch, twist and pull the broken piece out. Saved me $60 buying my daughter another game controller!

Perfect!
My son lodged the headphone tip in his brand new Elite Xbox One X controller on accident. This product removed it effortlessly and it now works like new. Easy to use and fast removal. Thank you for a great product!

It Actually worked.
I had a broken headphone plug in my MacBook and had tried removing it with a little crazyglue on a tooth pick and by using a small screw. Both methods did not work. Finally shelled out for this tool. It took several tries to get past the little bit of glue I think was there, this cused the top of the little tools to bend in. When I was finally ready to try pulling out I used the one on the key chain ring and found it worked but only if I pulled really fast. My audio outputs are fine after.

It worked after a few tries
I needed to remove a broken headphone plug from a PS4 controller. I read a lot of the reviews before buying this set - mixed reviews but the people who were successful were clear on one thing - you really need to "gently" and "carefully" RAM this tool into the jack housing.I used the flat part of a pair of pliers to tap it in. I used the pliers to grip to pull it out as close to the controller as I could. I didn't get anything the first 2 times but on the third I managed to get a bit out. A few more goes and bit by bit I had the whole of the broken parts out. I still have a few spare tools for "next time".Then it was a case of checking if it still worked and yes, it did! Success!
