I've been vaping since long before it was cool. I'm not a cloud chaser, I'm just a long term nicotine addict that prefers to not smell like an ashtray. I got caught off guard when my 4 year old mod suddenly stopped working and came here to find a new mod that I afford so soon after Christmas and that I knew would get here before I got too tempted to buy cigs.First impressions - it's a bit more "plastic-y" than I'd like. It seems fine, just less robust than the aegis mini that's lasted so many years. However, it could just be lighter materials and will hold up fine, but only time will tell. It does feel much better with the battery in, so maybe it was just that missing weight that made it feel a bit flimsy.I was under a bit of stress when ordering and didn't realise I'd ordered the Fortis kit until after it arrived. I've been using the exact same TFV mini tank for a number of years now, however, and I'm thrilled to have a spare now. Because I'm much more familiar with the TFV mini tank, I already know that it's going to suit my needs. If you struggle with opening your tank to fill it (or closing it) - this tank may really be beneficial. I was forever dropping bits while filling, breaking countless drip tips, dumping the just filled tank as I tried to retrieve the top from the floor. And once I had found it, I often misthreaded it - sometimes stripping the thread or requiring pliers to get it open again. The TFV mini has a top that is hinged to the rest of the tank. Press a button, swing it open, refill, swing it back and squeeze till it clicks back into place. It's a little stiff to click closed the first couple of times, but it gets better with use. It's a game changer if you don't have the dexterity to juggle the tank plus a separate top. I've used my current TFV tank for a few years, only needing to replace a seal in all of that time. I bought a spare (that I have yet to use) about a year ago because I haven't found any other tank that opens for filling like this and I'm afraid they might stop making them. So the fact I'm overjoyed to now own a spare for my spare really should speak volumes.Is the Fortis kit for everyone? No. It looks fine, I'm quite fond of the 7 colour mod with the 7 colour tank. You could definitely find mods and tanks that have more bells and whistles, higher wattage, more robust, and that hold more batteries. A lot of people don't know that you don't need a beast of a mod that goes to 200w and glows a colour of your choice. 80w is more than enough for the typical juice and coil and there are plenty of options for safely carrying spare batteries (or a power bank) if you think a single battery won't be enough. A good quality juice, the right coils, tinker around with your wattage until you find your sweet spot and you can be just as content with this quite affordable setup as someone that's spent 3-4x on equipment with features they don't need or don't know how to use. (Been there, done that!)

Really liked this but after 11 months it just stopped working, tried new battery and all suggested but just dosent turn on or charge. Pity
