Power Acoustik RZ4‐2000DSP Razor Series 2,000-Watt Max 4-Channel Class D Amp with DSP and Bluetooth

Great DSP controls, powers my mids and highs to perfection. Absolutely 0% complaints here.

I purchased this amp to do an affordable active "front stage" in my car. I am using it to power 2x tweeters and 2x woofers with the subwoofer RCA outputs going to an additional subwoofer amp.First off, 2000 watts is laughable.The amplifier has a 40amp fuse, so 40 x 14.4V = 576 watts. Divide that by 4 channels and you're looking at a maximum (peak, burst) rating of 144 watts per channel. Realistically, it's a 4 x 50-75 watt RMS amplifier.All that said, it doesn't sound half bad with the Dayton audio drivers I'm using. The speakers are sensitive enough to get loud with the available wattage, and there is no obvious audible distortion.The DSP is serviceable, although a bit buggy with the app over bluetooth. Settings seem to be saved even when the amp is disconnected from 12V power. Crossovers work as expected, and the basic graphic EQ is decent.My only real complaint is that the subwoofer RCA out seems low in voltage. I haven't measured it, but I expect it's a 1-2 volt nominal output. My subwoofer amp would be happier with more.Hopefully it lasts!

Bought it for the DSP features, but very disappointed in the power output.Rms power @ 4 ohms is only 46 watts. 46 watts. Why not rate the amp near the real power, 50x4 watts would be a real number.Amp has small footprint, very efficient, sound quality is ok and DSP software works amazingly well for the price point. Just keep in mind, the power output is not near rated power.
