Beachside Bohemian: Easy Living By the Sea - A Designer Couple's Refuge for Family and Friends

Don’t get me wrong it is a well done book, but honestly it is more of an informational book about the area of Trancoso, with a smattering of recipes, and nice pictures. As far as Beach Bohemian goes it is certainly not what I think of when I think of Bohemian style and decor. Most pictures showcase the wood interior of the home with white linens and objects, with maybe a cute object. I expected more design inspiration, but the style is quite minimalist and bland. I expected more from the Novogratz’s. If you want to learn about Trancosa then this is a lovely book, but if you are looking for a way to turn you sea or lake side home into more of a Bohemian refuge then save your money.

I love the Novogratz. I have their other 2 books and I love them. This book is pretty, but not new information or new pictures. I was a little disappointed. Sorry Bob and Courtney....I still love you!!!!!

Horrible - total ripoff - basically photos of the family on vacation.Loved the show and the first two books but this is the height of arrogance.Seriously.

I love this book for many different reasons. The way it was written and laid out is just so eloquent and easy to follow. The photographs throughout the book are NEXT LEVEL!! Trancoso looks absolutely divine, and as a result it has shot up to the top of my near future vacations list. With regards to their home, it's obvious that Bob and Cortney Novogratz don't miss a single beat or detail anywhere. This is evident when you see how much thought went into creating the atmosphere that they've achieved through their, furnishings, art collection and beautiful surroundings. They even went so far as to make the cover of their book a sort of linen like canvas. I've always been a believer in the fact that, "It's all in the details." You'll definitely discover many special details throughout this book. This purchase has been a great addition to my coffee book collection. Highly recommended.
