5 YEAR UPDATE - Appears reconditioned and not new...
This is the best accessory I've ever bought for my vehicle, we'll worth the cost!! I originally purchased this in 2019, and it has held up beautifully through 3 vehicles. In that time, the finish still looks great, weathered, but not flaking or rusting. I have noticed that it's drastically reduced the number of people that tailgate me in heavy traffic and on the highway. It also works very well as a step to get to the back part of the roof on my Atlas when I need to wash it out adjust cargo, like a Christmas tree! I've had quite a few people ask me about it over the years, and i just can't recommend it highly enough!ORIGINAL REVIEW: The product came in a damaged box that looked like it was used and not new. Removing the step from the box revealed holes in the carrying bag right where the screws are in the step. The step itself had minor scuff marks in the finish, but no major scratches. The stabilizer that came with it is worthless, no matter what I did would keep it from moving or rocking in my receiver. Overall, it looked like a reconditioned product and not a new one as it was listed. I will probably be sending it back if I can't get it to stop moving in the hitch, otherwise I'm frustrated that it appears to be reconditioned, but I can probably live with that issue.

Love my Rhino on my Lexus!
We were looking for the perfect hitch cover for our new Lexus SUV and had ordered several before deciding on the Rhino D360T with textured black powder coat finish. We couldn't be any happier with our choice and love the look and functionality of this product! The quality is better than we expected! It fits snug and level and overall a nice touch of bling without going overboard. Best part is, we don't tend to bump into the hitch as we did before installing it. The design is rugged but classy. We had ordered the same step but in the chrome finish but felt is was over the top too much for the look we were going for. If you're looking for something rugged, classy and functional without breaking the bank, look no further!!

Great idea, great construction, with a few caveats.
This step is a great idea. My truck has a slight lift which makes stepping up to the bed a good stretch. Having a step like this is a great idea and this one does the trick. The material and build seem rock solid and the finish is great. It matches perfectly with my OEM chrome running boards. It has come in handy already on a handful of occasions. But, I do have a few gripes. There are 3 sets of holes on the receiver bar to adjust how far the step sticks out. On mine however, the 3rd set (the shortest setting) seem to be a smaller diameter than the other two sets. The pin would not fit through this set of holes. Using the 2nd or 1st set of holes makes the step sick out way to far and looks very awkward, as well as getting in the way. I used a step bit (uni-bit) to enlarge the holes a little to make it fit. Also The receiver bar is a little too skinny which makes the step fit VERY lose (1/8" or better) and wiggly on the receiver. So there is a TON of wobble and vibration while driving. Plan on purchasing a separate part to tighten up this problem. Also keep in mind a few obvious things. This is ONLY handy when reaching (or climbing) into your bed with the tailgate UP. If you dont do a lot of that and usually only access your bed with the gate down, then this step will offer you little use.

Sturdy and great looking rear step sprinter 4x4 lifted van
Fantastic step to break the 25” ground clearance on lifted 4x4 sprinter. I did slightly modified this great rear step by turning around the lower step steel mesh (pointing outward ) to achieve wider stepping platform and used 2 sheet metal screws to secure to steel tube. I can in the future add brass nipped with sheee metal screws or manufacture should add 2 more factory brazed on or welded on nipples.P.S.I had tried 2 other brands which were inferior to this step. First model included bolt assembly steel step which flexed too much. Second was Plastic step which was stupidly slippery and way too narrow to even be considered as step -more like hip breaker at night on dark rainy night.

Great for Rear End Protection
So I've had this product on my car for a little over a year and it finally paid off. I purchased it (and had a hitch mount installed) for the sole purpose of protecting my car in the case of being rear ended. Well just last night I was involved in a three-car hit and run while waiting to exit a Target parking lot. A stolen Chevy suv was speeding away, hit the sedan behind me, and thus pushed me forward into traffic from a complete stop. Keep in mind that my car moved nearly an entire car length (mini suv) from a complete stop. But, hey, this thing took the hit like a champ. Completely crumpled from the hit but it prevented serious damage to my car. Minus the airbag light, the damage only bent metal/plastic and my car should be drivable. Suffice to day, this thing protected me, my passenger, and my car from serious harm. Another unit straight into the cart we go!

Poorly Designed & Engineered
Sounded perfect, looked good...until it arrived and I installed it. I really wanted a 'staircase' type of step bar so it was easy for my old legs to climb into my tall van's cargo area. The person/persons that designed and/or engineered this should be fired as well as any upper-level management that approved the design and put it into production! How does a company spend so much time, energy and resources to design something like this without even trying out a prototype??? The lower step is useless, actually dangerous. At best you can get the front part of the ball of your foot on it. I can imagine easily slipping off of this step and getting hurt. It needs to be lower, so your foot goes UNDER the upper step allowing you to place the majority of your foot on the step before safely stepping-up to the next level, OR the plate could have been made WIDER and therefore would extend out further allowing you to place the majority of your foot on the step before safely stepping-up to the next level. Returned and bought a competitor's model with a 6-inch drop from the receiver with a nice, big wide step.
