If you need to shorten the length and cut the wire you will need an industrial grade cutter. A regular pair of cutters or pliers won't work!!. Even if you somehow manage to, the little black stopper at the end of the rope won't go in because the steel ends are frayed. Very frustrating experience. Can't even return the product now!!

Awesome jump rope! Good quality and worth it for the price. It has solid handles with some weight to them but they’re slender and easy to grip. You receive two cables and the rope is adjustable!

The handles are pretty strong and the rope is of professional-grade as well. No extra plastic stoppers in case one is lost. Adjustments screws work OK however the design could be improved. Rope length is perfect for an adult as well as kids. Working perfectly and the kids are having fun.
