PLATINUMPlaisir Medium Nib Fountain Pen, Black (PGB-1000-#1-M)

Beautifully finished inexpensive pen that writes well. The nib is good for the price, although it sometimes squeaks on smooth paper. Finish looks durable and this will last for years. The cap has a good seal and the pen won't dry out if left for extended periods. I never leave it for more than a day or so before picking it up to use it but I can confirm that it always writes first time, every time. An excellent purchase.

Great pen

Ink flows smoothly, the pen doesn't dry out. It is quite light and when writing with the cap on, it feels well balanced. Can't believe how inexpensive it is for the quality. Would recommend it and I'm tempted to get one in the other colours, too.

Pros1. Excellent to write with. I use it with Parker Quink, and it is buttery smooth. Writes as a medium nib should.2. It is a bit quick to dry if left open, though that might be down to the ink.3. Tales a while to break in. For me the break in period seems to be over and it has settled down.Cons1. It's a bit on the expensive side.2. Writing with the cap posted is a little uncomfortable, makes it top heavy. To me that's not a big deal because I normally don't keep it posted, but mentioning it for those that do.
