The wood box feels cheap but the contents are amazing the rods are just fine and the box itself is really compact and good for storage I would get this if I were you the package arrived really fast

Got this for my boyfriend for christmas and he was so happy with it🥰 the box is a little cheap but hey it holds it all! excited for him to hopefully get lots of use out of it. I’d buy it again:)

This review is for the DAC Gun-Cleaning Kit.This product is being reviewed for quality, price, functionality, and aesthetics. The quality of the item is excellent, especially for the price of $10.00 to $19.99. There are 35 pieces included in the set and the threads on the pieces do not wear easily. I have had this item since 2006 and I have used it at least 100 times. It is still in very good working order, the wooden box is still in great condition, there is no rust on any of the pieces. Also, this is great for many different calibers with the different piece sizes. This is a perfect gift for any gun lover!

I got this kit for my husband. I had looked all overed for something that was nice and was not priced for an amount that was uncalled for. This kit was great. the wood case is very nice and helps keep everything together. The kit in itself was exactly what my husband needed and worked great for his wide ranges of guns. The only thing i wish the kit would have included would have been the oils and cleaning liquids needed but other than that it was great.

I bought a Gunmaster cleaning kit almost identical to this kit many years ago. The kit served me well and had everything that I needed. Unfortunately, over the years some parts and pieces showed their age and needed to be replaced, especially one of the brass rods that I bent a while back. I searched online and saw that it was cheaper to just buy a whole new kit than to try to replace the pieces I needed. I figured this would be ok to have some spares for things. Well when the new kit arrived the first thing I noticed that the wooden box wasn't the smooth polished wood that was present on the old kit, but a rough, cheaply made box that already had a chip missing from the corner. Over all the kit felt much lighter than the old one. This wasn't a big deal as this isn't something I'm putting out on display. When I opened the box everything looked to be about the same as the old kit except for the part I was most in need of. The brass rod sets were no where near the quality of the rods in the old set! They were much lighter and flimsier and didn't really even look to be real brass. There's no way I'd trust these rods to hold up to any real cleaning of a bore. Maybe if all you need is something to push a soaked patch down a bore, but not if you're trying to scrub out lead or copper fouling. This will be going back and my search will continue.

Has everything I need to clean my 9mm & shotgun plus more. Rods are long enough and can be combined using the included adapters. Wood box looks classy and elegant. Perfect kit to own or for a gift.

This kit has everything you would need (except solvent) to clean a gun. I got it for my son for Christmas, and he had a big hunting trip planned over Thanksgiving, so I gave it to him early (since he was headed over to a friends house to use their cleaning tools.)He was thrilled with it and needed it badly! The reason why I'm giving this 4 stars, is because the top of the case had a nik in it...which upset me more than it did my son. I would have sent it back, but he needed to use it right then, and said he didn't mind the nik. Like I said, it upset me more than it did him....cause all he wanted to do was clean his gun. I'm kinda a neat-freak, and I like things to be the way they're supposed to be...... Luckily I had a furniture marker and colored in the white that was showing through. The nik will never go away, it's just not as noticeable with it being colored in.I wish I would have opened it and inspected it when it arrived to my house.....that way, I could have returned it for one that wasn't damaged.
