The thigh area is a little snug for my husbands liking.
Thigh is a little tight for my husband. A few weeks ago my husband bought the same pair and they fit fine.

Bring'em Back!
These are the best jeans I've ever bought. Been wearing them for years. But now it seems they're harder and harder to find anymore. Or at least the variety in color. Do you guys understand how hard it is to find the perfect pair of jeans? Obviously ya dont. Please stop making great products that everyone loves, only to stop making them later. Just because skinny jeans are a fad with most rappers, doesnt mean that everyone and their mother is gonna start wearing skinny jeans. I know plenty of dudes (me included) that will never wear anything else but bootcut jeans. These are affordable, stylish, and durable. You've got a good thing... Dont blow it.

Great jeans—wish they didn’t have defects!
This is the 3rd pair of these jeans (same size & Santiago color) I’ve received with these torn-fabric defects (twice from Amazon, once from Kohl’s) in the past 7 months. I’ve included pictures showing the defects’ size, how they expand when pushed from the inside, and how they look on the inside. I don’t know if these were intentionally made or not, but I’m perfectly capable of ripping my own jeans & have no desire for them to rip vertically along the thigh. This has been incredibly frustrating since I’ve been wearing Lee relaxed fit bootcut jeans for more than 15 years & haven’t found a good replacement. Before returning these, I bought from another Lee relaxed-fit listing (Premium Select Straight Leg instead of Modern Series Bootcut) to compare & I’ll include my findings here for anyone who is curious about the difference. I’ve also compared both with a freshly washed pair of old Lee Dungarees.Fit: All three jeans fit similarly (all 3 being the same size & relaxed fit), but the Modern Series is a bit more flexible. The Modern Series also seems to leave more room below the butt, but that could be because of the material or the yoke (discussed below). The description for Premium Select says they’re “more relaxed” than their other relaxed fit, but I didn’t notice that. It may be more in the thighs than the butt and less noticeable because my test cases of high-kicking and squatting were less thigh-focused. With a thick wallet and iPhone 8 in the front pockets, the Modern Series still seemed more relaxed in the thighs (perhaps because of spandex), but the Premium Select does seem more relaxed in this test case than the Dungarees.Material: Premium Select (Round Midnight color) is 100% cotton while Modern Series (Santiago color) is 1% spandex. The Premium Select is definitely stiffer but not necessarily restricting. My current everyday jeans (Signature by Levi Strauss) are 1% spandex, and they get so terribly loose with wear that I wonder if the spandex is breaking down. I don’t know whether the Modern Series would loosen similarly. The Dungarees tag is impossible to read now, though I’m reasonably sure they don’t have spandex. Some Premium Select colors contain spandex, though, so this isn’t a major difference between these two styles. The thickness of the fabric between the Modern Series & Premium Select was similar to the touch, with the PS seeming slightly thicker—not sure if that was an illusion from the stiffness of the cotton, though.Yoke: The line of stitching between the waistband and the pockets demarcates the bottom of a piece of fabric called the yoke, and since I noticed this was different among the 3 pairs, I compared & researched this. The Premium Select has a V yoke, generally the most common & flattering type for all bodies, while the Modern Series and Dungarees have a wide yoke. Wide yokes create the “falling down pants” look, since the back pockets sit lower, and is described as flattering on men specifically. This may be why the the Modern Series seems roomier at the butt than the Premium Select. The Premium Select is visibly less baggy there as well.Pockets: The front pockets of the Premium Select feel smaller/stiffer than the Modern Series. It may be a function of the fabric looseness, but the Modern Series pocket seems cut a bit lower since more of the coin pocket is visible. The rivets on the Premium Select are ring-style rivets, which I personally prefer to the nipple-style rivets on the Modern Series because they don’t scrape my phone when I put it in my pocket. The corner stitches of the back pockets on the Modern Series & Dungarees are X-shaped, while the Premium Select seems to just be one horizontal stitch. I don’t know which type is more durable, though since some have reported tears in the fabric at the corner of Modern Series back pockets, it may not be a major factor. Conclusion: Overall, the Premium Select seems most similar to the old Dungarees, except for the narrower yoke, so I’ll be sticking with those and hope they loosen a bit as I break them in. While I wouldn’t mind a wider yoke (and the roomier feel), the defects in the Modern Series are a dealbreaker for me. The Modern Series is the only one I’ve seen available in bootcut so far, however. There’s another Lee Relaxed Fit Straight Leg Jean listing that’s not Premium Select that I haven’t tried, and it seems to have the same type of yoke as PS, so Modern Series may be the only listing available with the wide yoke. If you want bootcut or the wide yoke look/feel, you’ll have to risk the defects with Modern Series.

Impressed
I am 6'6" and 215 lbs. I usually wear 34x34 in jeans. These jeans are fantastic.Pros:They are better than other relaxed fit jeans in that they don't sag down as much - so when you're sitting, you don't have to worry about your undies showing. Compared to the Levi's 559 relaxed fit jeans, these jeans sit higher up. Yes, you can wear a belt (but who wants to do that?).Second, they are boot - cut, so when I put on longer socks, it is easy to pull the jeans over my calves, and they will fit over boots easier.Third, they are versatile. I can actually do a full squat without it being uncomfortable or worrying that the jeans will rip. They fit and look like just regular jeans, but they can stretch more than others. Finally, they are comfortable. I have plenty of room in the groin area, and they don't constrict any part of my lower body.Cons:The first pair that I ever bought (34x34) are starting to shrink after regular (once per week) use for about 6 months. They are tighter to put on versus my new pair (34x34), but once on, I hardly notice them. It could be due to the fact that some of these jeans aren't 100% cotton. Background:The reason I first bought a pair of these was because of my brother. I personally thought Levi's and American Eagles were the best, but after trying on several different brands and styles of jeans at Kohl's, these were my favorite. To be honest, the Costco Kirkland jeans are very good as well - they just don't look "as cool" as these though.

Used to be great
These were my go to jeans for anything and everything for YEARS. I've had pairs that lasted over 3 years with heavy use and they just got better with time as they faded. However, over the last 2 years, the QC on these has diminished. I haven't had a new pair in the last year that hasn't ripped right next to the back pocket or completely up the crotch in less than 2 months. I believe I'm up to 6 pairs in that time frame that haven't lasted. I've tried different colors and even went up in sizes, but it doesn't matter. If you're looking for fashion jeans and walk gingerly, you're fine with these. If you're a dude with man thighs and any kind of backside who uses your jeans for work, save your money.

Sadly these are factory seconds!
Was really looking forward to receiving this pair of Jeans. Unfortunately they arrived (today) with three defects or slubs in the fabric. See pictures. Have worn Lees, when I could find bootcut, for more than 50 years. This old senior is extremely disappointed! Not into the ripped and torn look. Thus, they are only fit to wear around the house. A colossal waste of pension money. (far too much effort to return them). Can only image how bad these jeans will be after washing. BUYER BE WARE! Look elsewhere.

Super comfortable and well made
Extremely comfortable for me with a 40 inch waist (I always get a size bigger for extra baggyness). Have bought this style in all the colors multiple times. They're the only jeans I can wear now. Last long too.

Comfy Fit, CRAP Quality!
BEWARE.Super comfy for my body type (Danish ancestry, N. American jeans are troublesome to find a good fit).Bought these 31-Aug-2020, they were delivered 8-Sep-2020, and because they fit and seemed durable I ordered another pair 29-Dec-2020...THE *NEXT* DAY these ripped *vertically* leaving my backside exposed (lucky for black underwear that day as no one wants to see my pale a$$ hanging out there!). See the pic. Was just lifting something and apparently that was enough for these so-called "jeans" to completely FAIL.Completely unacceptable. Most jeans I've owned I've given away... Or patched the knees. Not thrown out because of "Vertical Fabric Failure" (which is pretty much un-fixable).To the SELLER: HOW DO I GET MY MONEY REFUNDED? And I don't mean for the new pair that will be returned to you shortly...
