I was looking for some help to start my own business in crafts. This book give you a really go approach to that world plus advices for the negative side in this business.It's hard be a craftier and this book give you tips to get in the right direction.The book is well organize, easy to read, and covers all topics related to crafts.My favorite part is the interviews here you can read about different experiences and approach to the crafts world.I recommend this book, hope it can help you as it help me. This book is full of good tips, ideas, opinions etc. on how to start a craft business. She's teaching you and you learn from her mistakes and avoid them. I must admit, it gets you pumped up to start a craft business! I have purchased 3 of her other books and enjoy every single one of them. I like the fact that even though she's European based, she gives all the information for the US.

In the craft business, it's not that easy to price your product. Actually I'm trying to find a solution on how to price my craft product cause I wouldn't know how much papers/adhesive/ink etc that I've used to be able to calculate the real cost. If it's a rough gauge, I might have over counted or under counted. Though it teaches stuff like what type of market there is; how not to over price nor underprice; going around for interview etc, I'm still stuck at my costing which makes me feel disappointed.But overall, if you want to know some marketing strategy or like some stories behind some successful crafters, this book will be able to entertain your needs. (:

The best book I've read so far on how to run a craft business. Very detailed and easy to understand.

At a recent craft fair one of the people in the booth beside me told me that they had been interviewed for this book, and that it was a really great read. They were right - there's a great mix of crafty people in here, some I have heard of and really admire, and some I have now discovered. Really interesting to see what their experiences have been. Hopefully if there's a second book I might get the chance to be in there one day !!

Very informative book, simply written, easy to follow. Read this book cover to cover, placed 'post it' notes in places of interest, gave myself a few projects to follow. This book is a must if you are starting out in the world of business on your own and want to get yourself clued up on what to do and how to do it.

this book is very interesting, a must if you are thinking of starting a buisness, it does everything for you, i havent finished it as yet,i looked at few buisness books but decided on this one as its very easy reading, and you dont need a degree to be able to read it, lots of advice and help all in this little big book.

This book is really easy to read, is a nice handbag size and well laid out.I am thinking of starting my own craft business but didn't know where to start - this covers a lot of basic stuff - although American based, there are references to UK stuff - most of which you can get off a google search.Suitable if you are starting out as a hobby and has enough if you are thinking of going solo and making a living from it.It has definitely given me the urge to be brave and go ahead with my own business.
