Reproduction WW2 British Army Brodie Helmet with Chinstrap - Tommy/Doughboy Tin Hat

My grandson loved it. It completed the uniform that he wore out on Halloween and he actually wore it almost the entire weekend when his father visited him. The very fast service meant that the item arrived in plenty of time for Halloween.

The strap is very good. Unfortunately, the liner is made from a very cheap, synthetic material that smells of death. I threw away the liner and inserted a reproduction leather one.The size is comfortable, the strap looks authentic. Good show, really.

Better than expected

Helmet Liner is so small, and non-adjustable, that not even a child can wear it! To solve the problem I had to purchase another liner from another vendor.

Very Disappointed by the quality and fitment of this helmet. Overall the shell looks alright, but aside from this, every other aspect of the helmet left me wishing for more, considering this helmets cost! The liner is complete rubbish, looks like corner store quality faux leather, the liners shape was formed poorly and as a result barely fits onto my head. the part where the chinstrap meets the shell was poorly attached and I have little faith that it will hold up in the long term, also the brackets that fit the chinstrap to the shell were not even aligned straight, making the chinstrap cockeyed and not even as a result. Super let down by the quality and fit of this helmet that I had hoped would be a nice inclusion to my collection. My word of advise would be: do not purchase this helmet, find a better reproduction or original elsewhere.

Not sure what is wrong with the design but I bought it for my teenage son as he is into history, it arrived and wouldn't cover his head, felt like it was made for a child.

Bought for my sons christmas. Hes 11 and history mad. The quality is exceptional, very weighty, not cheap and light as we had expected it may be. The quality of the detail is fabulous, my son was thrilled with it.
