This little guy did our Christmas dinner this year providing some delicious venison for 4 adults. Beef burgers and chicken breasts come out delicious too!Assembly, usage and cleaning are trivial.Despite other review, it DOES support non-original cartridges. I use GoSystems PowerSource cartridges which are sold in almost every single hardware store here in Ireland. JUST make sure the cartridge complies with EN417 standard with a screw on top of the cartridge ‘cos you’ll have to screw regulator to the cartridge.

I was looking for a quality portable gas bbq and the Q1000 ticked most boxes.The improvements that could be made are a replaceable foil liner to make internal cleaning easier and a little more distance between the burner and grill plates to allow fat deflector plates to be fitted to reduce flame flare ups.Overall it’s a good item at an excellent price.

Very easy to use. Would have been nice to put in the box for storage but you can’t once assembled. No storage area for the gas regulator when not in use. Having said all that, it’s a superb barbecue, best used with the lid down.

It's just the right size for cooking breakfast in the early morning sun, just wanted something at the right size for these times, enjoying it all

A pity the gas canister seems to finish so quickly
