I bought a similar model silver years ago, but lost it while diving in Madagascar. I bought a second and I use it in my weekend truck when I fish.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the light before visiting Belize on a dive trip. I made 18 dives with the light with deepest dive 145’in the blue hole. Other dives ranged to 110’ each along various walls. Most of the time the low or mid-range brightness is all that is needed. However when needed the Max brightness string will provide daylight like brightness when needed. All the other divers with me also agreed this was the best light on the trip.The Brightest setting above water will light up a huge area. If left on the brightest setting out of water for a few minutes will heat up the end of the light. I do recommend that when traveling to either remove batteries from the light or place a piece of paper between battery connection to keep the light from turning on during travel.I am very happy with this purchase and would by the light again if needed.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the Wurkkos team who acknowledged the concerns I had shared & offered to rectify this by giving me a replacement or refund.I had compared Wurkkos lights against Imalent/Sofirn/Astrolux/Fenix & their DL70 was was my top choice. When I received the light it just looked & felt fantastic (barring the signs of usage).What seems to have happened was the unit I received has been a possible return which wasn't able to deliver as advertised and I might have just been unlucky here.However, given that Wurkkos has such a robust 12 month warranty policy & support locally from USA as well as options to provide repalcement from China to other countries (be aware you may have to deal with customs clearance so it may not be as convenient as USA) I was really pleased to have made this purchase. I'm definitely coming back to get this & another flashlight too (Wurkkos TS30S) once they have it in stock.INITIAL REVIEW:The light barely works any better than the chinese flashlights I got for 20$!The batteries & charger were pretty banged up & scratched. Used a different charger as the LED's just stay stuck on RED without voltage nor were the batteries charging up after hours of plugged in.The batteries seem defective too as another charger too didn't help keep it loaded and the light hardly goes to 3000 lumen!

overall best flashlight for for wide angle beam distance , two battery extend longer time to use yes it sturdy and quality for fraction of price

I’m a professional diver for the past 50 years. I bought and tried this light.Pros: 👍well built,very bright if used at its highest level.Cons: battery life 👎🏻 light time limited to 12 minutes if used at the brightest level,👎🏻 no safety switch, light is triggered by the slightest touch and the batteries empty if light is triggered by mistake on the boat and will not be noticed if you are on the boat during day time,I would not recommend it for serious divers

I use this wurkkos 13000 lumen as my primary and a wurkkos 2000 lumen as my secondary dive lights for some time now and I've never had any issues with either one on any of my dives down to depth.

The on off button for this light is VERY easy to press accidentally. In fact I had this in my dive bag and smelled something and it was smoldering inside the bag. I can’t even imagine if this happed while packed on a plane. This needs to be redesigned Badly.On the plus side it’s super brightI would definitely remove the batteries prior to packing this light.

This is a very well made flashlight that is extremely bright, but I just couldn’t get as excited about it as other reviewers. Removing the batteries to charge them was an irritation; I have another similar flashlight that also (in addition to removing the batteries) allows you to charge it with a micro-USB plug that has a water-tight cap over it when not in use, giving it the same 150M specifications. And, for the price, I would like to see a battery level meter, again a feature I see on other flashlights.Otherwise the flashlight is great, and admittedly I have not seen another light as bright as this one. If you don’t mind needing a standalone charger and never knowing how much charge your flashlight has in it until it’s too late, this is for you.
