This walking shoe feels more like a trainer. Great comfort, light with very good grip.

I bought two pairs, one was two sizes too big and the was badly defective, I returned them, but I'm down 28 euro postage and my time because of their incompetence and absolutely no quality control, I would stay well clear

Very comfortable for long periods and fairly water resistant.

Read varied reviews of these sneakers but my actual experience has been very good. Comfortable to wear all day and walk miles. Soles can occasionally be a little slippy in the wet

These both split across the top at 12 and a half months old at which point they are clearly no longer waterproof. 3rd party seller refused to recognise UK law places the responsibility on them to ensure items last a reasonable amount of time. Amazon themselves responded as follows: "As you've had satisfactory use of this product for a period of time exceeding both the manufacturer's warranty period and the typical average life of this product, and since you purchased your product approximately 12 months ago and have used it successfully, please understand that we're unable to offer you a replacement or refund of the replacement value."

The media could not be loaded.  Over £100 for these shoes and after a few months they have completely disintegrated. They are no longer waterproof and essentially fit for the bin. Merrell completely absolving themselves of liability and asking for the original Amazon seller to refund.

I recently purchased a pair of Moab Speed GORE-TEX shoes from Ellis Brigham. The shoes were advertised as being waterproof so I was excited to use them for hiking and other outdoor activities. However, after only 11 months of use, the shoes started to let in water. I contacted Ellis Brigham customer service to request a repair or replacement, but they refused, stating that Merrell said both shoes were letting in water, but that was due to "natural wear and tear." Ever thought they were well under a year old? so there is nothing they are willing to do about it.I don't think very many customers assume that is it acceptable that GORE-TEX waterproofing lasts for less than a year.They refused to take responsibility for their product. I would not recommend Ellis Brigham or Merrill to anyone, and I will never do business with them again.I am writing this review to warn other consumers about Ellis Brigham's and Merrill's poor customer service. If you are considering purchasing a product from them, I urge you to reconsider. You are better off spending your money with a company that will stand behind its products and its customers.They argued that I had in some way worn the shoes incorrectly which is also untrue. As you can see from the picture, the shoes are in perfectly good condition on the outside. They have not been in any way mistreated or damaged.I am also disgusted by the idea that Ellis Brigham could not care less that the shoes have lasted such a short time. They are more concerned with making a profit and getting me off the phone than they are with providing qulity products and customer service.GORE-TEX should be ashamed of allowing their waterproofing into such poorly made products.
