I just ordered my third package of these photo sleeves. We had a large number of family photos in boxes, and they were starting to curl from being stored that way, so I decided to move them into binders. These sleeves work great. Each sheet can hold six 4X6 inch photos, 3 on the front side of the sheet and 3 on the back. The top photo on each side is horizontal/landscape and the other 2 are portrait (vertical). If you want, you can insert a title card into the small pocket on each side. I don't understand why the earlier reviewer gave these sleeves such a low score. In my opinion, they are a perfectly good product.

BE AWARE that these pages are NOT 9.25 inches wide as another reviewer says. They are slightly wider, 9 3/8, or 9.375 inches, which may not seem like much, but for my purposes it was too big of a difference. I wanted to intersperse these in my scrapbooking binder, which is a large heavy duty D-ring binder with standard sheet protectors in it. When I was researching which picture sleeves would be a similar size, these 4x6 sleeves seemed like a very good fit. Not perfect, but close enough to not stand out from the sheet protectors. WRONG. They stick out between the protectors AND stick out from the edge of the binder. It would look terrible, so I can't use these after all. I will probably return them, though I hate doing that for the waste of shipping back. But $16 for something that was misadvertised (it was almost impossible to get the exact measurements from the item description in the first place!) and is useless?? Nah. Bad deal.The quality seems okay, though I am not going to be using them, hence the two stars. If you're not picky about size, and you have a SUPER OVERSIZED binder to put them in, go for it.

I had a box of various sized photos, and, with one fifty sheet pack of these sleeves, I made a photo album. I used standard sheet protectors for the few oversized photos I had. They all went into a binder that I already had. It was a good choice at a great price to create a sigle volume that sits on a shelf out of a bulky box of photos of all sizes and times. The sheets should be inserted right side up or the open side will be on the bottom allowing any undersize photos to slip out.

I am finally organizing my collection of garden seeds (over 500 packets). I put two seed packets in each pocket, similar to how one puts photos in the pockets. For bulkier seed packets, I found the top, horizontal pocket will open at the top too much and the packet will fall out; so I make sure to store the bulky packets in the vertical pockets. The horizontal pockets are fine for, say tomato and pepper seed packets, but not so good for beans or peas. Although the product does not work perfectly for my needs, it is well constructed, and looks like it would work fabulously for its actual intended purpose - thus 5 stars.

My initial reaction was that these were not identical to the name brand ones I bought previously, but after examining them, found that they're just a tiny bit wider, which is great because I'm storing postcards in them. A lot of the postcards are cut 4 and 1/4 inches, making it necessary to trim them to put them in the sleeves. The quality seems to be very similar, both have a small amount of haze in the plastic, but not significant. Also like that they have a solid weld between pockets, not a series of dots. Doesn't detract from my collection.

I was fearful they would be cloudy or very thin and fall apart but they are thick and very sturdy. I am using them for photos and the project turned out wonderfully. I still think they are a little pricy for the amount you get but I am happy with my purchase.

The project was to go through mementos and file basis year of acquisition. School, wedding, baby photos are now in these sturdy archive grace sleeves.The one down side is the narrow width of the wallet sized pocket. Most of those photos needed to be trimmed to fit.Over all I am very satisfied with the product.

The small pocket to the left of the horizontal pocket is just the right size for holding wallet-sized photos or to write a note about the pictures in the other pockets. The off-gassing when you open the package is pretty strong, though, and that concerns me as to how that will impact photos over time.
