Best you can get for the money
I’ve ordered this one last year for my Ford Transit camper and it worked great. I’ve always used the remote which I found very useful since I’ve installed in the inverter under the bed so would have been a bit of a hassle if I had to use the switch all the time to turn it on and on. I’ve used it mostly to power both our laptops with my partner and for my 1000w kettle. I’ve sold that van with the inverter and I’ve just ordered a new one today for my mini campervan project. Believe it or not I tried a cheaper version and I’m not returning it after less than a month! I regret I didn’t buy the same model again.

Delivered 1550w in a test
I connected 12 vintage light bulbs in parallel, I.e. 7 x 150W plus 5 x 100W bulbs. That pulls 1550W which is 50W above the continuous specification. The inverter came on. All bulbs lit without any error light or beep. After 20 seconds I turned off the inverter. I have been using the inverter on occasions at up to about 300W and it impresses me. The value for money is good. I needed to contact the seller once. Service was good, too.

Not impressed
Looks good, but not fit for purpose. Will not power a 700watt microwave, fridge just goes on off on off.Remote does not work.Don`t think this is a pure sine wave inverter.Sent back for a refund, don`t waste your time and money on this inverter

Excellent Inverter
I find this inverter excellent! It has so far powered my Angle Grinder and my 700 Watt ( Output ) Microwave ( not at the same time! ) so I can cook onboard without Marina 240 volt power. I like the display giving details of loads and voltages so you can tell if you are overloading it or not. I can't see the reason for a remote control ( with it's 12 volt battery ) although, it means I could put the inverter under a bunk and switch it on remotely, but I am unlikely to do that.

Great performing inverter for the money, shame about the remote function
I brought this inverter to go in my Motorhome, mainly due to its remote control function and pure sine wave I took the punt. It runs a 750W microwave and powered the fridge off my Lifepo4 battery and is very efficient. After about 5 switches on and off via the remote, the remote stopped working, I switched it off, took the batteries out, disconnected the battery but it would only switch on via the normal on/off switch. I sent it back for a refund and ordered another unit for the same price. The returns process went extremely smoothly and was impressed by the refund time. Time will tell if the new units remote will do the same thing, I will write a follow up email in due course. The build quality of the unit and output is solid so would recommend just on this basis and even if the remote function stopped the unit could still be switched on/off manually, at this price you can't go wrong, how long will it last? Only time will tell!

Not impressed
gave this unit a good test today have to say not impressed, upon hook up to a 2 battery plus solar charger arrangement with a constant monitoring system running to ensure a stable 29.5v input, to begin with and without any loading on the inverter it went straight to a fault state, checked everything whch was ok, tried again and powered up then added a small load of 22 watts to the inverter 240v output which redulted in the inverter going back into fault state repeatidily after approx 20 seconds of use, consiniusly resetting and evenyually settled in to running the 22 watt load, seems like it hates being turned on and used until its warmed up a bit because once you have it running for 10 or so minutes it will run all day at least with very low loading, I repeated the whole test a second time after adequate cool down and got the same result with faults and shutdowns until again eventually getting it to run consistantly for a longer spell of time, this was to form part of my partial off grid solar energy system but think I will replace with something more reliable I can trust will just have to pay more but its worth it for something that can be relied upon like a victron, as for the remote and the non enclusion of batteries for it I dont mind it clearly states they arnt included, what I do mind is forced to buy batteries for a remote that doesnt even work, did make a small click sound from the inverter but didnt power it down instead it continued to run with a 700mA idle open circuit current draw from the batteries. note 700mA not the claimed less than 0.6A

Impressive machine
Sending back as when switched on with remote the thing keeps cutting out after every few minutes. But works fine if turns on with main switch. Remote was only reason I bought this model. Other than that great inverter. Hope they have another one to exchange with. Not another one to exchange. Follow up review after a week. Have come to a financial arrangement with supplier. And keeping the inverter. It works great and am pleased with this. Other than remote this is all that I could ask for in my truck. Boils kettle really quickly and now can charge digital razor as well without damage ( pure sine ). Recommend this to any one looking for a powerful inverter that’s compact. The service from supplier is great. Communication is spot on with same day reply.
