Trying this over the long term to see if it helps my dogs tummy issues
My Frenchie has a dodgy tummy and every so often he has an off say and his tummy sounds like a washing machine, he also has problems with runny stools or constipation. I tried him on a raw diet as I heard that this might help and it did seem to at first, but after a few months things returned to how they were and he did not seem interested in the food. So I have stopped the raw food and gone on to a premium dog food and I am trying him on this Prebiotic & Probiotic Supplement as I have read that it can really help. I feel it is going to be a long term thing and I am not going to see results in the time I have to produce this review. What I would say is it is easy for him to take, as I just put the dose into his food and the price seems reasonable as it will last a fair while. Time will tell if it does the job and if I see any real improvement in the coming months I will come back to this review to let you know.

Promising
This is isca big old tub of prebiotic supplements for dogs - not cheap but price relects how much you get for your money Our dog is prone to wind and an upset stomach. We have tried all kinds of food to see if it helps but nothing seems to have an effect. We have been trying these for about a week and just in the kast few days we have noticed that yes there seems to be less noticable wind and toilet stools are nicely firm. While this could be a coincidence I am certainly going to finish the tub . By then we will have a much better idea as to wherher these are helping but for now things care looking good...

Just not sure
This is a supplement powder. It does not come with a measure and is hard to weigh the correct amount each time. The fine powder makes it easy to add to wet food or sprinkle on top of kibble if you don't have a fussy dog. I have found that my dog's poop is still soft for days now and i'm just not convinced it is working or maybe that the portion i am using is incorrect. As i said it is hard to measure it properly, a scoop would have been very helpful. Also, i cannot see where it says how many times a day to use said portion. It is very unclear.

Very smelly
This is great for your dog. My dog loved it however, the smell was quite off putting. I am guessing that the flavour is great as the dogs can't get enough of it. I probably will buy it again just because of how much the dogs love them but I will be buying a peg for my nose.

pricy but seems to help
i found mixing this in with water help my dog eat it as if i just sprinkled it on top them he wouldn't eat all the food, but made up as a soup like mix that seemed to work fine.i think its helping him as it settled his stomach,

The jury is still out
There are various types of probiotics, this one is yeast based. My puppy has been on this for some weeks in the hopes of sorting out his diarrhoea. I'm not so sure that it had any real benefit, and it wasn't until I started him on another type of probiotic that matters began to improve. Admittedly, a very limited test!

Good Healthy Pup Probitoic
Both our dogs have been supplementing with probiotic powder (sometimes ones that are part of a complex with added fiber and brewers yeast) for a while now so I didn't need any convincing on the value of including it in their diet or the effectiveness of a regular probiotic and additional fiber/brewers yeast for them - they work very well for keeping everything regular, calming bloating and strengthening gut health to process food better and make them less susceptible to upset tummies related to changes in their diet. This powder is a pretty good one and prefer powders to tablets as I always have to grind or cut their tablets into their meals anyway to ensure they don't just eat around them then this in powder form saves me the hassle as I can just mix it straight in. Reasonable value and a good healthy boost so would recommend and get again.

A bit of an outlay, but worth it
We have two dogs and they can easily get upset tummies and end up having loose stools or vomiting. We have previously used probiotic paste when this occurs, but this powder is much easier to administer as it just sprinkles on their food and is easily hidden within it. We’re using this daily as maintenance for good gut health, to hopefully avoid any future tummy upsets. Both are digs are under 10kg, so we’re using approximately 1.5g per dog per day, so this tub will last us fifty days for both dogs, or 100 days if only given to one dog. The treatment does is 2.5g per day for a small dog. I’ve taken a photo of the dosing for different sized dogs, attached to this review. It’s so sad to see a dog with tummy ache, as they don’t know what to do to alleviate it, apart from eating grass to make themselves sick (well that’s what ours do), so hopefully using this in as daily maintenance will prevent future flare ups. In summary this product does it’s intended job simply and easily, whether using as maintenance every day or for acute care. It’s not cheap at £18.99, especially if using for more than one dog on an ongoing basis, and we may well revert to a cute only and see how we go. Works a treat though, so recommended from me and the pooches.
