Susana Morais is the originator of PortugueseLab, an online Portuguese language site. Like PortugueseLab, this book is carefully and thoughtfully designed to help the reader to improve their language skills, whilst having fun.It's a sweet story about a soap bubble-blowing dragon and a girl called Sílvia who can 'see' missing objects. The challenges of the text are just right for intermediate learners of Portuguese. Susana suggests you read it in Portuguese first, then with the English translation (excellent) under the Portuguese text, then in Portuguese again. Finally, download the audio to combine all three. This method is really effective and has helped me enormously as it combines sight, sound and repetition. It also helps with pronunciation. There are interactive questions, too, which help to reinforce what you have just read. I hope there is a Part 2 soon as I want to know what happens to the dragon and his friend!In a word - fabuloso!

This is a very good book for those learning european portuguese at this level(A2). I don’t know of anyone else who is writing books like this in Portuguese as a learning tool , with an english translation and a free audio download of the book to improve listening skills. I hope Susana continues to write more books like this.
