Cuisinart DTC-975WCL Thermal Carafe Lid, White

NOT AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINAL, BUT IT WORKS OK. TOP LID DRIBBLES COFFEE. THE ORIGINAL DID NOT DRIBBLE.

The lid of our Cuisinart coffee maker was falling apart after many years of daily use. I was happy to find a replacement for a good price--a lot cheaper than buying a brand new system.The color doesn't match (coffee carafe is stainless steel and black plastic) and at first I was going to deduct a star for that. Then I realized, I can SEE when the lid is actually on the pot and screwed on properly. So it's actually good it's a different color!

Long after our old Cozynart automatic coffee maker automated itself into coffee maker heaven, we have continue to use the carafe. We now use it to make pour over coffee -- a newish function for an old device (hmmm, I wonder...)Anyway, in the process, we have broken the original top and its replacement. This being the third replacement, it fits and works perfectly and is reasonably priced...(couldn't find it in black for some reason).

I replaced a cracked lid from our original purchase many years ago. Appears to be the same as the original. I expect to get many more years from it.

I dropped and broke the lid from the thermal carafe. I thought I was going to have to spend $100.00 plus to get another Cuisinart coffee maker. I gave Amazon a try and found the part I needed from this seller. Lid was a perfect match. Arrived quickly. Packaged very well. I'm back to enjoying coffee again from my Cuisinart. Thank you.
