Comfortable and Casual
Love these boots. I travel a lot and need to wear steel toes when out on jobsites, I like how they work for that but I can wear them casually with jeans at night so I don't have to pack other shoes. They are not all big and bulky like other work boots.

Sneaker styling and comfort with construction toughness!
I do IT and electrical construction. Whether we are doing electrical rough-ins or expanding network capacity, having comfortable shoes that are tough is huge when you're on your feet for 8 to 10 hours a day or more.. with no breaks in the midst of it all. These boots are great. I would compare them to Ariat in terms of quality but for less. They look almost like sneakers, which is unusual and kinda cool.It will take a good two weeks or so to break em in. The material is mostly a stiff canvas so you might feel pressure on your upper mid foot. The insoles are solid though I would say my fellow flat footers should consider custom insoles or Dr. Scholls "Work All Day" insoles. The arch support is rather aggressive, almost feeling like you have a nail or rock stuck in your boot.I'm exposed to cutting oil and all sorts of fluids all day. These boots are built tough and show no signs of wear anywhere. That's impressive considering I have a wicked instep and soles tend to show wear early on.I went with the brown and tan style. Love it. The black ones are nice too and probably better if you want to hide dark oil stains. Special thanks to my coworker for recommending these. They're s great value!I will reiterate that the break-in is rough, as wirh most work boots. The heel and bridge of my foot were particularly rough for me. I do still notice my toes feeling trapped at times but that could be more of a sizing or weird walking things. Definitely not a deal breaker.I would say try a half size smaller than your normal walking shoe if you want wiggle room. A full size down should be good for your average comfort needs while remaining secure. I am glad I went with the wide variant becsuse, again the canvas material doesn't flex much so you'll feel thst pressure.Did I mention they're super lightweight and waterproof??Overall, some of the most comfortable boots I've ever warn. Consider these over Cat, Timberland, and similar brands.

Awsome lightweight boots
Well made and great cushion inserts. Carhartt hit it out of the park with these boots! Didn’t break the bank either. The quality right down to the laces is great. Highly recommend this boot! You won’t be disappointed .

AAR: MEN'S FORCE 5' WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
BLUF: I'VE WORN MILITARY COMBAT BOOTS DURING MY LAST TEN YEARS OF SERVICE AND HAVE BEEN THROUGH THEM ALL. IVE I'VE RECENTLY TRANSITIONED INTO A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT WHERE ASTM CERTIFIED FOOTWEAR IS REQUIRED. THE FOLLOWING OBDERVATIONS AND OPINIONS ARE NOTED.OBSERVATIONS:A. PROS: 1. LIGHTWEIGHT. 2. COMFORTABLE ONCE WORN IN. 3. TIME TO WEAR IN: 8 HRS 4. FAIR VENTILATION. YOUR FEET WILL NOT SWEAT AS EXCESSIVELY AS A LEATHER BOOT. 5. FITS AS EXPECTED. 6. EASY TO CLEAN. 7. APPEALING PRICE.B. CONS: 1. TOES FRAYED WITHIN 6 WEEKS. 2. SHOE LACE ENDS STRIPPED OFF. 3. LARGER IN APPEARANCE THAN AVERTISED. 4. SLIGHT DISCOMFORT FOR FIRST 8 HOURS. 5. OVERPRICED. 6. MEDIOCRE QUALITY.RECCOMENDATION: THESE WERE PURCHASED FOR A SPORTY YET SOMEWHAT PROFESSIONAL LOOK.AFTER APPROXIMATELY 8 HRS OF USE THEY WORE IN AND WERE CONFORTABLE. OVER 6 WEEKS, THEY QUICKLY DEGRADED. TOES FRAYED. CLEAN LOOK DIMINISHED. CURRENT APPEARANCE IS RAGGEDY. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR LONGEVITY IN A SAFETY TOE SHOE/BOOT, CONSIDER EQUIVALENTLY PRICED ITEM OR INVEST THE EXTRA MONEY FOR SOMETHING MADE OF LEATHER. IT IS WORTH IT. IF YOU WANT COMFORT AND A BOOT THAT WILL AST ~6 MONTHS, BUY THIS.

Repeat Purchase
My husband has a hard time finding comfortable shoes for work. He has really wide feet, but also does roadwork where they use a really strong, messy adhesive that gets all over the place AND sand that manages to get into pockets and shoes. The work also requires him to get up and down from the ground constantly which causes the toe of his shoes to wear out super quickly. Now these problems aren't all 100% resolved with these. They aren't magic shoes, after all. But they tick enough boxes and are priced right to repurchase. That's why he loves them. We have purchased two pair within the last year. My husband wore the first pair until the toes were literally worn off and the composite was completely visible. They go high enough up the ankle, but not TOO high (my husband hates the feeling of the ones 8+ inches high). They're name brand AND come in WIDE. They're durable enough to continue using even with the toe completely worn, they're pretty lightweight, and the toe doesn't give him that bulbous look that a lot of steel/comp toes give wearers. We'll continue to be repeat buyers for these.

Honest review from a big guy...
The first day of wearing these boots was just okay, that is to be expected during the break-in process. Day 2 & 3 were better but I noticed my toes starting to hurt. After 2 weeks of wear I can barely tolerate wearing these for more than a few hours at a time. All I can figure is that once the stiff canvas uppers softened up and the leather broke in my foot tends to shift forward causing my toes to press against the safety toe. I would suggest going up one size if you have any doubts. I'm 6'3" 320lbs and these boots do have a good arch support, somewhat cushioned sole, and provide some impact absorbing when walking. If you need a lightweight safety shoe then this is your boot, if you need a "work boot" then pass this one over. I'm fortunate enough to have a job that only requires me to have safety shoes about 40% of the time on the clock so I thought these would be a viable option. Honestly, I wouldn't buy them again even if I did go up one size.

Perfect for work
It's my second pair they seem to last about 6 months then because I get them wet the soles separate after about 6 months but they are great for work for me

You need these if you work in a hot warehouse in the summer.
I work indoors in a hot warehouse. So in the summer, this was more than perfect with the breathable strong mesh fabric. The grip for the concrete floors, the insoles impact resistent, stitching is A+ I propbably wouldn't recommend this for outdoors in rainy weather because it's not waterproof. But everything else, yes.

Tow and heel tight for allegedly what is a wide shoe
Don’t use on a long haul first day out, they take time to break in

Narrow for small feet
Didn't even had the chance to lace them. The wide model was too narrow coundnt fit all my toes.
