Beautifully crafted cup
Really beautiful mate cup with leather exterior. Mine didn't come with the strainer spoon / straw, even though I thought it would because of the advertising images.I'm not super familiar with how to clean and care for this type of cup. I'm probably not going to clean and polish the leather every time I use it, but I will soap up the inside. I think the unique construction makes it an item that you probably don't want to share, unless you really want to clean the leather every time you use it.

A unique gift for a collector!!
This Yerba Mate cup (Thebmate Store) is very unique. My husband enjoys unique tea cups, mugs, and tea kettles (i.e., Japanese, glass, ceramic). This Yerba Mate cup will go great with his collection. It is a ceramic mug with (dark brown) leather wrapped around the body.I like the built-in stand or feet. It adds dimension and makes it very stylish. Note: It does not come with a bombilla straw but they are easy enough to find on Amazon. Overall, I give this cup 5 stars.
