Betty Crocker BC-2400CB 4 Cup Glass Chopper with Spatula, Clear

Love this little Betty crocker 4 cup chopper, and it is So quiet.. Who knew!I had been using the 4 cup, plastic Oster chopper, and I thought I liked it so much that I bought a second one just in case that one wore out, and it did.No problem I thought! I just went and got the new- still in the box oster chopper, and the damn thing did Not Work at all! Grrrrrrr. Btw when IFirst bought it, I did try it, and did work then!Also bought two more for two of my daughters at the time also!When I went on Amazon to replace it again, the price went from about $12.00 to $30.00 !!Instead I bought this Glass B.C. 4 cup chopper, and I’m so glad I did.The idea is the same, but this one does a better mincing of garlic, & onions. It will chop them also and other veggies, butWill also mince them with out making them Pate’.The top is a lite clear plastic, with the heavy glass bowl,a little stick thing to get everything out once its chopped, and a lid for the bowl, whichFor me I don’t have much use for, or the plastic stick..but some like it.I hope this lasts for a good amount of time, and the price does not double.I paid $16. Something for this a couple of weeks ago, and I just noticed it’s a dollar more now. Ok.

Received item on time. This chopper is awesome! Easy to use, easy to clean and easy to store.. It has only one push button so one has to judge when to stop chopping. Too many pushes of button will seriously turn your item into ground beef appearance so depends what your chopping on how many clicks. I made chili last night and this chopper does chop meat, so about 4 quit pushes of the button it chopped the beef in 1/4 inch sections...if I chopped it any more it would have looked like ground beef, lol. I have chopped beef, pork, chicken, etc.So if your chopping veggies it only takes about 2 pushes of button.I am enjoying my chopper and its fun to use. Any chopper is a must for amature home chefs.

I bought this to grind meat. Specifically organ meat so I could hide it in regular ground meat. It works PERFECTLY for that purpose. I hid two chicken hearts and two livers in a pound of ground lamb that I used in a curry and you couldn't taste it. I've also used it to make tuna tartare and to dice garlic. It's easy to use, and everything is dishwasher safe (blade too!). I can grab it out quickly and be done chopping super fast. I would buy it again for myself or as a gift.

I didn't need a large food processor, but for recipes that required finely chopped onions, celery, etc.,a chopper speeds prep up. Researched small choppers and decided on this one fit my needs best and had a attractive price. . I am very satisfied with its performance. Love the glass bowl. And that it comes with a lid that allows you to store contents in the fridge without removing contents if you like. Highly recommend.

This little thing is awesome! I got rid of my big food processor because I never used it. Have a small one cup model but I have to do things in increments with it, such as making graham cracker/cookie crumbs for pie crusts. My son came back from Morocco loving hummus and I knew I could make better than what he was buying at the store so I needed a bigger instrument with which to make it. The glass bowl was really the selling point for me, and the four cup size ( I already have too many appliances I don't have room for in my kitchen ). This thing is powerful, has a storage lid, and is easy to use. Lid does not lock onto the bowl but the motor is interlocking with the lid and the blade does not engage unless the motor is situated on the lid properly. It arrived today and I just used it to make a cookie crumb pie crust, made the whole job easier and less labor intensive than the last time I made it a week ago. And I am loving the price as well. This is one gadget I can definitely recommend to cooks or anyone needing something not too bulky in their kitchen for similar purposes as I do. Really happy with this purchase.

After using this for a couple of years or so, I officially hate it. The way the top fits on is awkward, confusing, and not user friendly. I bought it because it was a small processor w/ a glass bowl; that's its only redeeming feature.

Update: Been too busy to really use it but I just tested it with one apple halved, core removed, and it minced it perfectly in 2-3 seconds. Not bad.Moved to three stars. Still don't feek I got a new appliance that I paid for. I thought I read the storage lid locked/snapped on but it doesn't. Not a big deal since it's just me but I can imagine it would be a mess if someone took it out of the refrigerator wrong and dumped the contents everywhere.I feel like I got someone's reject. The box is scuffed and worn and there was a dirty fragment of styrofoam under the top. It also didn't come with the spatula as advertised. Obviously, wasn't the selling point, but it would have been nice to have! I'll wash it and use it in the next day or two and update if necessary.

Was very skeptical about this product because of other items I purchased. This chopper is excellent, glass bowl, easy to use and clean, does not take up alot of storage space. Highly recommend.
