S Brannan and Sons Ltd Slimline Max-Min Thermometer 250mm White

I didn't expect the larger numbers to be in centigrade, but this isn't a big problem since the Fahrenheit numbers are there, just smaller. Plus, I like being able to tell the temperature in both. The hi/lo markers are kind of small, so I guess I'll be using my reading glasses. Overall, this is exactly the thermometer I was looking for, not digital and it can let me know what the high and low temps were in addition to the current temp.

A bit difficult to read the F degrees, with the larger C degrees intended primarily for users in countries that use Celsius. Still works well, and no batteries required. Glass vial arrived broken, thanks to our US mail service. Vendor quickly replaced the broken unit, and mailed in a sturdier package.

The magnet gets stuck and the thermometer goes thru it.

Easy to read, exactly what I wanted, liked it so much I bought a second one.

Although minimum temperatures are easily obtained, maximum temperature reading was impossible to obtain. Very disappointing!

It's now been in use for just three months and the blue dye in the thermometer has faded so that it is impossible to read the temperature without difficulty. Money wasted I feel!

This min/max thermometer is just what was advertised - easy to read and easy to reset. What wasn't advertised, and should have been (if only in the customer feedback section) was the degree to which the vendor EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS! During my first feedback/review I mentioned that I'd broken the thermometer during installation and that I regretted my clumsiness. Amazingly, I got contacted by the vendor to get more information, after which they expressed their sympathy and offered to send me another thermometer at no extra cost. (I had said I'd be happy to purchase another if they could give me a deal - always the optimist!). The replacement arrived today. I am blown away and feel I must share this experience with other potential customers.
