We preheat the container with boiling water and my kids say their food is still warm by lunch time. I love the nice wide mouth on it. It makes it so much easier for them to eat out of than all the other containers with the smaller openings. It holds a lot of food, the seal is tight, the color is great too!

I am so glad that I bought this thermal. I loved it so much that I bought 4 of them! And I’ll probably buy more. I tested how long this thermal kept warm by adding boiling water to the thermal and close it. I checked on it 3 times within a 24 hours period. After 6 hours, the water was still hot and steaming. After 12 hours the water was still a good hot temperature but not burning to the touch. But definitely hot. And then after 24 hours the water was no longer steaming or hot but Luke warm.My kid’s school do not have hot lunch services. We have to pack our kids a lunch. They do have a microwave but the lines for the microwave is so long. By the time my kids are able to heat up their foods, time is up for lunch. So I bought these thermals so that I can prepare hot meals for my kids. And 9/10 times, the meals that I have packaged for my kids are still yummy hot when they open the containers for lunch 4-5 hours after I packaged them. These thermals are NOT microwave safe! They wash very easily by hand or in the dishwasher.Someone from another review recommended that we fill the container up with boiling water first, close it, leave the water for 5-10min, dump the hot water out, then add your hot foods to the container. Don’t forget to push down on the middle button on the lid for a good seal. If you don’t do this, your top might pop off if it is tipped on the side or upside down. I had to learn this the hard way.At first I thought that the price was expensive for the product. But after using the product for several months now, it is worth every penny. I have bought more since. This would be great for road trips and picnics too, not just to pack lunches.Works for cold foods too. But my kids like hot foods so I mostly make only hot foods to put in the container.

I bought this to transport hot meals to work for lunch and it does a fantastic job. I was worried that it might be too small, but it's just the right size for me. It does keep my food warm. Some mentioned it leaking heat. It does leak some heat out of the top so I wouldn't put it near something you want to keep cold.It is hard for me to open. There is a handle on the top, but no handle anywhere on the body. So, it tends to twist together when you try to unscrew it. I've found along with pushing the release button that I have to hold the body between my legs to get the proper pressure to keep it from turning.There is a trick to getting it to screw closed correctly. I found that because my hot food is putting off steam, the lid doesn't always screw down correctly and would always pop out of the track.. What works is to screw the lid part way down, press the release button and then screw it down the rest of the way.

Trust me when I say this is the one you want to buy! In my search to find a lunch container that actually keeps food hot, I've searched high and low and have wasted countless dollars. This one is by far the one that has kept the food the absolute hottest. I packed my husband a mashed potato bowl (Mashed potatoes, cheese, corn, chicken and gravy) at 5:30am and by the time he ate it at 3:30pm it was still STEAMING hot. What he didn't finish during lunch was still hot to the touch when I cleaned it out at 6pm. I'm honestly very impressed. The key is to pour boiling water into the container for 15 mins to 'preheat' it before dumping out and then adding your food.The size is suitable for my husband's large appetite, but the container is still compact enough that I'm able to pack it for my daughter in her school lunch bag as well. She is 10 and did not have any issues getting it open.I immediately ordered 2 more to have on hand for my family's needs. I highly recommend!

This is overall a good product. It’s very big so it can definitely hold a good size meal and it stays warm all the way until my daughter goes to lunch which is the main purpose for why I got it. The rose gold color is super cute. If I had to mention the downside of it, I would say that water sometimes gets into the lid after washing and you’ll hear it shaking in there and the button at the top that I believe lets out the hot air can be a little dysfunctional, so be careful with pressing that button other than that I have no complaints

These are pretty expensive so I thought they’d be great, doesn’t keep your food hot till lunch as confirmed by 3 boys. They are an impressive size and leak proof for salads and stuff though.

It works very well for keeping my food warm. I fill it at 7:30 and by 12:30 it is still hot and ready to eat. I did accidentally overfill it once (was warned by the user manual so that's on me) and the resulting mess was a bit hard to clean, so watch out for that. Nice and compact and fits enough for most adult full meal.

Stays warm for hours, but be sure not to over fill or it makes a mess.

I bought this for my daughter and unfortunately it suctions so much that the lid won’t open!
