Four Paws Tender Touch Slicker Wire Brush for Cats

This is a basic cat brush and works fine for its intended purpose. My problem was that after about 5 or 6 uses the bristles started bending and curling. My cat is not made of steel wool. You can just tell it was made cheaply.

PROS: Works brushes fur and removes some loose hair, Fur looks better after brushing Product feels like wood, it is painted and I was not up to testing this time. Light and easy to brush with for hours if I could just get my cat to sit still.CONS: I'm using it on an uncooperative cat. our 3 cats love this brush and line up for their turn when we start brushing. The smaller brush head makes it easy to brush cats under their chin which we can't do with our larger plastic brush. The smaller brush is also nice for storage as it doesn't take much space. The brush is still plenty big to brush our cats cheeks, heads and backs. I'd been using this brush (or something nearly identical) for over 20 years. we recently bought 3 more to place around the house for convenience.

Our old brush finally needed to be retired. I love the shiny/metallic-ness of the brush and I like that this newer version has the edges more rounded. They were quite sharp before. The bristles are sharp as well and my husband poked his own finger with it and drew a little blood (this has never happened to me in the 8 years we've had it). So I definitely recommend being cautious and maybe supervising small children who want to brush their fur siblings. My kitty, Olive LOVESSSS this brush and the sharpness of the bristles. She's a long haired calico and it's perfect for her floof. If I even walk near where I store her brush she goes bananas. For the price, great deal!

This is the perfect size and weight for my small, long haired cat. Sturdy construction and the handle is long enough for a good grip while not too bulky. Also easy to clean cat hair from brush. The cat loves it.

Gets all the matted fur out!!

I've tried 3 other brushes on my spoiled brat cat, and he'd have no part of being brushed. This one was way more satisfying to him, apparently... because he actually let me brush him with it!! <3

Best brush for cats! They love it! They come running when they see it! Favorite is rubbing their cheeks against it, so cute, and removes so much hair! Helps with hairballs! Keep your cats healthy and keep the hair off of everything else! Brush as much as you and they like! :)
