Lerner 1 Day Beeswax Yartzeit Memorial Candle in Glass

The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is because I have not yet seen how long these candles will burn. I know that in order to fulfill the memorial candle in the Jewish tradition it must burn for one full day..I did buy these for religious reasons, but am not Jewish (beeswax, very important for Catholics, and happy they are Judaic memorial candles). I DO hope they fulfill the 1 day promise though! But, I can tell you how these candles arrived from this retailer..They were very well wrapped, each one was taped tightly shut in quality bubble wrap (large, very full dense bubbles), they are very attractive (the glass is nice--and looked better than the picture, actually). All were uniform in size and shape.They were in a cardboard box-I avoided another retailer who sent them, according to reviewers, in an envelope where they came broken! They were also disappointed that it didn't have a good flame and said the flame was small, lit very poorly, also dousing out prematurely. I did light one to check for the flame capacity and it was a beautiful, soft glow. The wick was a full, thick cotton with a very long top (which should help it from dousing itself out). All of them were long and centered very well. The labels were very easy to remove so the candle was very attractive-no ugly label residue. Overall, they were exactly what I hoped for. I am also hopeful they will last a full day..I will burn one to check the manufacturers accuracy and review it as it is important to burn as prescribed. With that aside, I am very happy with this purchase as yet.
