Nice taste, good honey, medicinal impact minimal not worth the price.
Although the bitter taste and flavor is unique and pleasant ( smells and tastes like beer hops) the medicinal effects are subtle to non-existent.I'm going to try a different brand direct from Nepal next time.

This was not pure honey, mad or otherwise
I was hopeful with this company and product, but extremely disappointed upon receiving it. The first problem is with the packaging, it was leaking into the delivery box, but the lid was still on so I thought it might just have been poorly filled and cleaned.I went ahead and kept it as the jar and lid themselves appeared intact and the seal did not appear broken. I tried a tablespoon of it the next evening and it tasted like honey, just a different type, but nothing obnoxious or bad tasting. The consistency was MUCH less viscous than traditional honey. I would place it at about the same texture and consistency as the typical pancake syrup you find on most supermarket shelves.I waited about 45 minutes after trying it and felt nothing, so I took a second tablespoon, but didn't feel anything I would describe as euphoric or hallucinatory. At best I think I might have felt a slight surface tingle, but that's it. I put the rest in a dry cabinet for another time. The final experience I had was when I went to try it again about a week or so later and found that it had turned rancid. I used a clean spoon the only time I tried it and it was immediately sealed back up and put safely away, so in order for it to spoil like that, I have serious doubts that it was pure honey. Honey does not spoil or go bad, so for that to happen some other substance had to be introduced. It's possible that I contaminated it with something when I dipped it out of the container, but even that aside the poor condition and leakage of the jar upon delivery and the lack of anything remotely feeling like the suggested effects leaves me very dubious of the product and company. This is especially true given the cost of the product. It is by no means the most expensive brand on the market, but it isn't exactly budget priced either. For the price it really feels like a cheap product all the way around if it is even a legitimate product to begin with. I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

Waste of time and money
The product is all hype and no fact, it's not even a good honey. Save your money and buy some Sue Bee, at least you will get a better tasting honey. I forgot to mention the messy leakage. The price is already too high, subtract the leakage and it is nearly criminal. Considering how upset I was, I would deny any claim to "a calming effect"

Definitely read the literature.
Like the taste. Size is small. Using it for pain. It has helped considerably.

Not what I expected.
I waited to do this review because I wanted to give it a fair chance. Did a lot of research on this particular honey I took a chance on this particular company to see if it would meet the standards of the research that I did on this particular said product. With that being said the answer is no the only thing I can say positive is that I did get my product ahead of time the flavor is amazing goes very well with tea or coffee. But as for what I was looking for such as relief from aches and pains it did not deliver.

Great honey
I've always wanted to try cliff honey, but I was afraid to because of all of the bad publicity from poorly informed reviewers. After conducting my own research I have come to the conclusion that this is really good honey. Mine wasn't runny as some reviews state and that's is possibly due to improper storage. Treat it like honey and store it accordingly and you should be fine. Avoid extreme heat because it ruins any type of honey. Those living in warmer climates should consider ordering in the wintertime to avoid extreme temperatures during deliveries which could ruin the honey. If honey is stored incorrectly it can lose some of its antimicrobial properties, become contaminated or start to degrade. When it's left open or improperly sealed, the water content may start to rise above the safe level of 18%, increasing the risk of fermentation. I have only tried small portions way less than the recommended amount and it is great tasting honey in my opinion. Do your own research and if you are looking for specialty honey, then you will definitely get what you have paid for. Again do your own research and understand that you are getting honey and too much of anything or improperly stored products will not be a good experience for anyone. I hope this helps
