Great story about how Chiquita took a big risk in partnering with Rainforest Alliance and several European social NGOs to turn around it's supply chain, ultimately leading to cleaner, safer, more equitable banana production in their plantations around the world. It is a great read if you are also interested in learning about how third party certification for environmental and social standards came about.

Good for practitioner of sustainability business. Had a lecture on chiquita bananas. not much on climate and energy though. More of a business management tool.
