Hatch Whole Green Chiles, Mild, 4 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I ordered these because I love this brand and Hatch chilis. A little bit of heat, but tolerable - just really tasty. These have about a 1 year on the expiration, which is great for me - they won't last that long. Not available locally. Arrived in great shape with other stuff I ordered. Will definitely order again!

I shopped every grocery store in my area and couldn't find this kind of chiles. The only chiles available are the 'chopped' or 'diced', which are pretty much like a relish, and sometimes a tad bit slimy. Then I thought of checking Amazon These 'whole' chiles have a lovely crunch to them and are great on a burger. Now I have a dozen cans and I know where to order more when these are gone. Good ol' Amazon. They really do have everything!

In comparison, the peppers purchased thru Amazon, were hotter and not as firm as those purchased in a grocery store.

The cans are defective and leaked all over my pantry. Not food safe. Annoyed I had to throw the entire case away. Do not recommend

We live in upstate New York and finding it harder and harder to find whole green chiles. We need the whole green chilis for tamale filling and also to make oven-baked chili rellenos. The true chili pasillas for chili rellenos are impossible to find here so we use these. Great find on the internet and now have these in the pantry for spur of the moment recipes.

Chilies Rellenos would not be the same without these tasty whole chilies. We love them.

I gave 3 stars because these chiles were good but weren't better than the cheaper brand Ortego.i would not reccommend these because they're overpriced
