For the right product, this case is a great choice. I bought this case for a portable DVD player that ended up not working, so I used this for a small camera case instead. I kept the case because it was so nice, even though I did not have anything of the right size for it. Although the shape is not at all correct for a camera case, the quality of this case is excellent. Really nice padding material. Strong zipper. Sturdier exterior. Pleasing soft color.

Nice looking, well made, water resistant, soft interior, fits my external CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive with room to spare. The interior won't scratch the drive, offers great protection and is water resistant enough for Washington state weather. Well worth the price to protect your drive.

Snug but fits my external dvd drive and cables stored in outside zippered pocket. Nice fabric outer, smooth zipper and inner padded bubbled micro fiber lining. Recommended.

Perfect size internally and externally. Seems sturdy enough for normal use. How durable I can’t say for certain but I estimate it’ll hold up well over the years. One thing I must say is that when using this drive with a device such as a tablet, e.g., Microsoft Surface, that has only one USB port there is not enough power in the port to operate the external drive. Solution is simple: get a powered hub and you’ll be in business.

Good price and great value. Looks and feels rugged for travel use as well as a good protective storage case at home for compact CD/DVD drive.

UPDATE: 08/2021 - after having handled this case only a few times, while keeping the front pouch always unzipped, the front pouch zipper now fails to engage or seal at all.ORIGINAL REVIEW:This portable optical drive case was the only one that perfectly fit my Pioneer slim Blu-ray drive, keeping it snug and secure. I dropped the case a few feet onto the floor by accident, with drive inside, and this case perfectly absorbed the impact. I didn't worry about my drive being damaged at all. That's substantially better than the other cases I tried, which were dramatically too big and allowed the drive to bounce around inside.I love the material on this case - it's durable and liquid-resistant, and fashionable in an understated way. The only area that could possible be improved is the front, zippered pocket - it's a bit small, and fitting more than just one USB cable inside there is a challenge. Also, I have a feeling that the front pocket will sooner or later become deformed in the outline of the cable stored inside, because the pocket is so snug. But for this price, I'm not terribly concerned.

Just what I was looking for. I recommend this for to Storage for my MacBook.

I bought this as a sleeve for my Kobo Libra 2. I didn’t want a sleepcover and some of the sleeves made for it are flimsy or open up top. I’m happy to say this fits perfectly! The zipper feels secure and tough, my eReader slides in and out easily but doesn’t rattle around in there, and it’s thickly padded for protection.
