Great cooker
My husband had one of these for 20 years before it broke. When he saw the same one he said buy it. He loves how sturdy it is and how well made.

Good burner
Very hot burner served my purpose well I used it to boil water in a 55 gallon drum. The legs are very flimsy that’s my only complaint I wouldn’t expect them to hold but maybe 10 pounds

Great deal. Heavy duty and simple to used
Great buy. It’s short to you might need to prop it up on something but no complaints here. I was but confused at first because it didn’t come with instructions to assemble the base but once you reference the picture on the box it’s really simple to but together

This thing cooks!
Assembly was quick. Simply attach the legs, then connect your propane tank, check for leaks, and away you go. I dunno if I was lucky, but I didn't have to fiddle with the air intake what-so-ever.There are other burners on the market that output more heat, but compared to my stove, this thing is *incredibly* hot. I don't know how much more heat you would need for basic cooking. Maybe if you were smelting ingots or something. In the photo: My cast-iron skillet takes forever to heat and boil water on the stove, but this burner had no problem boiling water within seconds.I bought this primarily for pressure-canning. When I use the stove, it heats up my entire kitchen, so it will be nice to do that on the back porch instead.

sturdy but cannot achieve a low heat setting
I intended to use this propane cooker for general-purpose outdoor cooking. So before buying it, I asked in the Q&A, and most answers said that it is capable of a low-heat/simmer setting. It turns out it cannot...not even close. The lowest heat setting possible puts out a lot more heat than the highest setting on my indoor electric range. If you try to turn the gas down any lower, it will extinguish. Most foods will quickly start burning. It became necessary to greatly adjust my cooking technique. I bought this in the summer of 2022 - I don't know if this issue has subsequently been addressed with a product change. If you want to do cooking which requires high heat output - things like boiling large pots of water - this is great for that - it's a beast. Even at medium heat setting you can feel the radiant heat several feet away, like a small camp fire. But for most of my cooking needs this cooker is a fail. Its a shame because I like the simple sturdy steel design that will last for many years.

Not very durable
Put a pot of lobster on and the legs buckled, cheaply made, would not buy it again
