I used this to replace the nub on my New 3DS XL, and it works much better than that old nub did. The difference is night and day.

Got this for my New 3DS XL and it works pretty well. Do be warned though, if you put this in your 3DS, it will leave a little indent on the screen after a while and for games that have very sensitive c-stick camera input, using this will make the camera move slightly. That said, for the bulk of the games I own, it works extremely well and has greatly increased c-stick input accuracy.

If you want to mod your 3DS XL's C stick nub with a "real" thumb pad, do this mod (see youtube). I recommend the technique that requires you take apart the device (if you have some skills) rather than just ripping out the nub. In the end, either technique works though, so do it already! I picked gray so the color would match the original nub color, but can come in other colors to for a more customized look.

This 2-pack PSP-1000 replacement stick is the perfect replacement for the terrible C-stick nub in the New 3DS/New 3DS XL/New 2DS XL. The light gray color is slightly lighter than the gray analog stick of the 2DS XL but it’s close enough to not bother me. Highly recommend!

Analog stick worked out perfectly for my N3DSXL mod. Glad I went with this one. Not much more to say.

Wanted to to this for my 3ds and I can honestly say I am not disappointed. Was sick and tired of the nub that came with it. Worth it!

as small as this is, this made a huge difference I bought this for my 2ds xl and its a real game changer. now i can play xenoblade 3ds with ease
