Q: Is this product all rubber, or does it have a gritty, sandpaper texture/material on top?

Different from other anti slip tapes, this tape's surface is make out of rubber, so it is comfortable for bare feet but it is textured to provide anti slip grip to prevent slips. The base layer is PET, it is a PVC free material providing water and oil proofing and it can withstand extreme weather. No sandpaper feeling at all!

Q: Is this tape pliable enough to bend over stair nose?

Yes, this textured rubber surface tape is pliable enough to bend over stair nose. However, we don't recommend to install the anti-slip tape over the stair nose. The correct way to install anti-slip tape/stair tread is apply it half inch from the edge of the stairs for the best protection. The reasons are: 1. It is much easier to install; 2. It is also easier to give even pressure to the tape during installation to get the best result; 3. The edges of the tape also increase the grip preventing slips.

Q: Would this work on a slanted shoe rack to keep shoes from sliding off?

Yes, this tape will work as long as the surface of your shoe rack is smooth.
