Easy to use, perfect fit and thickness to recover the cracked and peeling Yakima bars for my roof rack.I was out of propane for my torch, so I just shrunk it down using the gas burner on my stove. I just kept moving and rotating it, and it was quick and easy!I left a couple of extra inches on each end because I didn’t know how much shrinkage there would be in the length, but the shrinkage on the length wasn’t much. Easy to cut the extra length flush with the bar ends after shrinking to fit.The Yakima mounting hardware fit just fine after it was installed. Perfect thickness.

So far this looks to be a very good product. I didn't know shrink tubing came in such large sizes. I am using it on a canopy I'm making, using 1" EMT conduit. I am sealing the joints to hopefully keep water from getting inside the pipes and rusting. It takes quite a bit of heat, but it shrinks nicely around the joints and appears to be water tight. Time will tell. All in all I'm quite happy with it.

This didn't split along the seam like their 50' roll of 1/2" I bought.I needed a better heat gun with more accurate temp control for it to work well with TechFlex.

I use heat shrink tubing a fair bit. It is invaluable for sealing an electrical repair or when creating a custom light fixture...I tried this tubing out since it said that it was waterproof and I wanted to make a connection that would be outside and exposed to the elements...I had no idea!! This stuff is so cool! At first I was a bit concerned because it seemed HUGE, compared with tubing that I have used in the past...However...Not only does it shrink down a HUGE amount to really cinch the connection. It thickens up when doing so, which makes a really nice sturdy thick cover for the wires...As if that were not awesome enough, it has a heat activated glue inside the tubing which melts as the tubing shrinks and totally seals the entire connection!! This is so much better than typical heat shrink tubing where the seal is tight but not sealed...I am totally impressed and will be using this type of Heat Shrink tubing almost exclusively from now on...

I used this on my Harley 2003 FXD when requiring. Worked perfectly. Shrank just as advertised. Well worth the $

just what i expected money well spent

I needed some clear shrink tubing to weatherproof some outdoor IP67 silicone sleeve LED pixel strips. This worked perfectly. The 3:1 shrink ration ensures a tight seal and the LED lights still shine through brightly. After joining the pixel strips, I applied some RTV silicone around the splice and slid the shrink tubing over the splice. After applying heat via a heat gun, the result is perfect adding just a small amount of bulk to the overall LED strip.

Used to waterproof an electrical connection to a fountain, covered by water spray.

Fits larger and shrinks extra small. Great for most bigger electrical ends.
