Pretty well designed battery-powered lamp.The strong magnet in the base holds it to panels and braces on cars and other things I've been working on. It comes with a cord loop, and there is a metal hook that swivels out at the bottom to hang it from non-magnetic things.Once you find it, the switch works well, and you can actually operate it with your grip instead of having to find and press the button directly with a finger.Press and hold and you get solid or blinking red LED's, cool. I think red doesn't kill your night vision, so that might work out on meteor shower viewing and other nighttime events.I think they have decent quality 18650 (LI) batteries. I turned one on while working on an engine project, got called away, came back around 6 hours later and noticed that it was still going, good deal. It comes with a short charging cord, USB A ➝ B, you provide the USB A power source. There is a red LED to indicate charging, a green one shows charging's complete.I like the color a lot, the drab green is a change from the usual black or electric, anodized blues and reds of many other lights, but it may be a bit harder to find. There's a nice rubbery overlay or coating that contributes to its IP (ingress protection, or water resistance) rating, along with a small tethered cap for the charging port. I hope this material doesn't eventually 'gum up', but seems good so far.I like having bright, portable light sources for working on various projects without having to drag a cord. Haven't tried much photography with it yet, so not sure about how sensors will pick up this light (CRI, for instance.)I wish that the head would swivel left or right. As it is, it has two ways to fold forward to almost 360° with respect to the handle. It's not super-stong. When the lamp is extended from the handle it's probably a little vulnerable. It has several stickers that are starting to peel off, no big deal. Batteries don't last forever: if the lamp survives the battery, it may be possible to pop another one in, though it may be soldered or spot-welded on the terminals, and it appears not to have simple disassembly in mind (plastic welded/joined seams.)It's pretty good, I recommend it. I think I'll look for a pair in bright yellow that stand out a little more in the toolbox

Love these lights. I have 6 of them spread out all over the house and garage. Very bright and battery lasts a long time before needing to charge them. Feel very well built.

Missing measurements and info for the working arm (i.e. the light)The black portion is about 3/4" wide by 5/16 thick by 3.5" Long (the last .5" does not not have LEDs in the "cob" area)There are 8 red LEDs and 16 white ones, with one LED on the tip (90 degrees from the cob).The yellow part that forms the hinges are just under 1" wide and 1/2" thick, and each hinge segment is about 5/8"The hinge is double articulated but in the same aspect: think of the sun rising in the east setting in the west. The hinge can bend clockwise (to the east) or counterclockwise (to the west), but it can't twist north or south.The base is oval shaped, about 1" 11/16" by just over 1" 1/8" at the narrowest part of the oval and the inset magnet appears to be 1/2" square.Folded looking at it from the side, the top of the unit is 1.75" (hinge and arm and body) and is about 1" 3/16" wideThe goodThe manufacturing of the case is above average.The main light is bright but the brightest I've seen, and the clear plastic that protects the LEDs seems thick enough.The magnet base is good, it can easily hold the light on a flat surface and is strong enough to pick up an 8" adjustable wrench by the edge.In general, I don't like multi-function buttons, but at least this one works. Meaning it recognizes a long press versus a short press. The long press will either start the red light or if you're using the white light it will switch to the red light. The short press will either start the white light or switch modes.The hook will let you hang the light on a pipe, parallel to the cob.I didn't test the battery life or charging times.Very light weight, probably floats.The badThe end (tip) light has only one LED, and it's not super bright. 3 would be better.SuggestionsThe lanyard can get in the way of the magnet. I would like there to be 2 or even 3 places to connect the lanyard.The multi-function button cycle for the white light is on-bright (cob); dim (cob) and cob off, tip on; off.I would prefer cob on; tip on; cob and tip on; off. Because I almost never need a light to be dimmer.It would also be nice to be able to turn off the light by folding the arm to the closed position.Of course the main weakness of this light is that it can only bend in one plane (clockwise, counter clockwise).

Very well-packaged. Nice product, compact, user-friendly, bright lights, multipurpose uses. Highly recommend! I bought one set for myself and another set as a gift. I may buy more. Everyone would benefit from having a practical tool like this. Great for everyday use, emergencies, or to store in an emergency bugout bag. A+!

These lights are fabulously bright! I used one of them to garden in the dark. The ability to bend the light around a corner while working in a car engine or tight space is amazing. The fact that they're rechargeable makes them an unparalleled value and they really do hold a charge for quite a long time. You can light up a vast area, easily 8x8 of a completely dark room with the main light and the focused light is truly excellent as well. They were an incredible value as a pair and I'll watch for another lightning deal on these to have one located in the car, the bedroom, by the back door for dog outings. Very light, too. Excellent to keep in a briefcase. The ability to "stand" them rather than have to hold them is a dream. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

Worked great for 6mths in terms of brightness. Magnets was never that good. But recently both are starting to fail. Having to knock them around a bit to get working again. Likely internal wiring issues due to the adjustable heads.
