Yes, it’s a real Z series SONY battery. The charger is Wasabi. And no, a real SONY battery doesn’t “cost much more”. It’s sold on Amazon for $78.00... And finally, I’ve found that the Z series battery lasts MUCH longer than off brands, at least for my Sony professional cameras. Wasabi work fantastically in Fuji cameras, though.
