I sweat a lot (understatement), and slip easy - this solved it
So, I'm first to admit I'm a disgusting sweaty mess when I exercise or work out. No hiding it. I'm the worst of anyone I know, by far. You don't even understand, man.Doesn't matter how little effort I exert, I start sweating pretty quickly (thankfully I don't have bad BO - I swear!). Needless to say the whole Bikram/Heated Yoga thing makes it 10x worse, and as such was a TERRIBLE experience for me the first time. I went prepared with a $20 mat I purchased from a random convenience store and a small face towel, and I literally had water *streaming* off of my shirt onto my mat for most of the class. I've never seen sweat hold a constant stream... like, what the hell? NOT FAIRMy entire mat was engulfed in a puddle that was encroaching on my neighbor's space (oops), and I couldn't so much as plant my feet at 30' angle without slipping. Pretty embarrassing, and disgusting, and sad. The paper towels laughed at me, and were futile.Sure, everyone in a class like that class sweats a good amount, but I seriously sweat more than the next 6-7 people (AT LEAST) combined. I would've liked to pretend that this all never happened, and that I could honestly swear I would never step foot in another heated class again, but I had 9 classes remaining on my deal and actually enjoyed the class otherwise. Further, is all of the 'advanced' classes were heated, and that was what I liked the most. So, after a fair amount of amazon searching and reading, I decided on this purchase - and it is a WORLD of difference. This mat handled the deluge of sweat from a class, and kept the mat underneath it in reasonable shape. No puddles on the mat or the floor; just some minor moisture. Further, is it never got slippery, at all. If anything my grip got better as it got wetter, somehow (though it does recommend some moisture for best results). But seriously, I can't even fathom how this thing absorbed 95% of the sweat. I rang it out after the class, and out flooded enough water on the pavement to fill a bucket. The puddle was like the circumference of a mini-cooper. I'm not joking around when I say I sweat a lot. It was disgusting, but hey, no one knew about it but me this time! The thing had to of had around 10lbs of water in it.Ok, so, don't mean to gross everyone out but I just wanted to emphasize how awesome a job this towel did. I fully recommend it.Oh, and it fit my mat perfectly, and didn't move or have to get readjusted much at all. Feels nice too. Customer service is also excellent and very personal.Though, honestly everything else could've been terrible and I still would've been super happy to not have to worry about slipping, falling, and splashing the entire class with the puddle I land in. Great product.

Towel Slips, Great customer service.
GREAT customer service, but towel wasn't my favorite. I've been practicing hot yoga and regular yoga for a while. I recently purchased this towel for use during both. During my regular flow class, the towel slipped constantly. I actually stopped using it after only a few poses each time I tried to use it. I tried wetting it and it still didn't work. I received several emails from the seller, and I contacted her after having trying the towel several times. She offered more help and either a refund or new towel. I chose the refund and my account was credited within hours. I would buy from this company again solely for that reason. If you do hot yoga/Bikram, this may be an easier towel to use because you're not doing vinyasa over and over, but it didn't work for me. It was moisture wicking, though. Make sure you don't wash with fabric softeners.

Very happy
I love this towel so much I bought 3 so I don't have to constantly wash them. I go to CorePower Yoga Sculpt and Yoga 2, both of which make me sweat buckets. This towel is a little slippery if your hands and feet are dry, but with a tiny bit of moisture, I have a good grip on my down dog. The towel sticks well to my Lululemon mat (it only moves when I pick it up to wipe my face), and covers it almost completely. I wash it on normal cycle in hot water with Hex detergent, and they're holding up just fine. No smells, no fraying, and still very soft after weekly washings for 3 months. I bought several of the grey ones with various piping, I like the color a lot, it's not distracting.

This is the best towel ever
I have been experimenting with yoga towels. This is an inexpensive towel, so I was expecting the more expensive towels to be more effective. I was wrong. This is the best towel ever. Doesn't slip or slide. I never notice it during practice. I have a Jade mat (for reference).I purchased more expensive towels and I didn't like how I was too conscious of the towel during practice. With this towel, I don't notice it, because I'm focusing on my practice, not the towel. A ++ in my book.

No nubby side and you have to get it very wet.
I sweat when I work out. A lot. Mostly from my head and face. So during yoga, sweat just rolls down my face and drips onto the mat. And the idea of a towel keeping my mat dry is very appealing. BUT you have to wet your towel down for it to stay put. I'm new to yoga and wish I knew that before I ordered it. But I figured hey, I'll still give it a shot. So the first time I sprinkled a little water on it and tried it. The spots that were really wet seemed to stay put better. So the next time I tried getting the mat more wet. But there you run into a problem too. I don't want to feel cool dampness when I'm sitting or laying on my mat. And it still does move around a fair amount. There's no nubby side that grips the mat. It's simply a microfiber towel. A very large one, but a towel all the same. For now, I will continue to use it. It's soft and I can usually unobtrusively straighten it out during class when it bunches. But I am really disappointed that it doesn't stay better and just how wet you have to get it.

Stains your gear
I got this due to the great reviews but don't get why my towel sucked so much. I've only used this once and it severely stained my yoga mat. I laid the towel on top of my mat and sprayed some water on it and you can see exactly where I sprayed. I don't even know how this happens?Update: my issue was handled promptly and youphoria went out of their way to correct the issue. I'm updating my review because I was so thrilled with the customer service I received.
