I bought these to plant in the back of my 30 gallon aquarium and they look fantastic. The plants arrived healthy and faster than I expected. They are also quite large, about 12 inches tall.Each plant is actually a bundle of five plants wrapped together at the roots with cotton and held with a weight. I unwrapped and separated mine so they can spread. Since I bought two (and the seller threw in the third for free), I ended up with 15 plants that create a nice row across the entire back of my aquarium. They root just fine without the provided weight.I did a little research before buying these. They are genuine aquatic plants that root in the substrate. You should have a nutrient substrate rather than just regular aquarium gravel for them to do well, as well as a good lighting system.Update: The leaves did die back as has been mentioned in other reviews, however the plants promptly sent up new growth. Each of my plants has several beautiful corkscrew leaves that are growing quite quickly. I read online that this often happens with Vallisneria as it adapts to a new aquarium. I am still quite happy with these plants and would readily recommend them.

This arrived in good condition and has grown well for me. Be sure to have plant anchors of some sort because they can come with very short roots and are hard to plant in the substrate. Seachem advance seems to have helped to encourage root growth and I already have 4 runners from the 6 plants they sent. It may also be necessary to add gh booster and/or kh booster if your water is soft to get good growth out of these.

Beautiful gently swirling leaves. I have as a background plant in a 1.7 gallon tank, where it is growing to 8 inches tall. It is propagating via runner, which produces leaves and then roots, after roots appear you can snip the "umbilical" from the parent and plant elsewhere. This is growing well in my son's "Jellyfish Party" Aquarium with the tank's stock led light and API Root Tabs in Fluval Stratum capped with decorative gravel.

Would definitely purchase again. The plants arrived on time in a bubble envelope, and looked very healthy. Three weeks later in my aquarium and they still look great. Beautiful plants.

The seller shipped very quickly. They ended up arriving on the only cold day of the week, and sat in the mailbox for over 5 hours until I got home from work. I was worried they wouldn't make it, but they were packaged so well they're all coming back to life nicely! Still small but very fast growing. Great prices as well for the quality and quantity. 100% recommend

They were a bit wilted on top, had to trim those bits. Overall, packaged well and have been growing. But brown bits at the top dont go away so Im not sure what is going on.

So, the bundle had 6 plants, which significantly reduced my grumpy mood over the price and lack of this basic (in my view) plant in pet stores. They look really healthy. I’m very happy with this purchase
