Dual Expandable Cat Backpack Carrier, Fit up to 20 lbs, Expandable Pet Carrier Backpack for Large Fat Cat and Small Puppy

I'm using this for Cocoa, my 4 lbs. Toy Australian Shepherd. Most of the reviews I saw were of cats, so I thought I'd give a dog's perspective. I use this backpack everyday to tote Cocoa to and from work, and so far it has held up well. Great things about it:-The clear plastic in the front -Cocoa likes to paw at the front of the bag when she wants attention. With other bags that have mesh on the front, she eventually wears a hole in the mesh. I'm thinking this one will hold up for a longer period of time. Plus she can see so much better out of it! That makes her more comfortable when riding in the vehicle.-She can get in and out of the bag through the side with it expanded, and often goes in the bag throughout the day to sleep. So she definitely feels safe and at home in this bag.-The backpack straps are comfy, and there isn't a lot of depth/bulkiness to the bag when it's on your back. Cocoa is thin and fits just perfectly. But if you have a wider/bigger breed, they may be uncomfortable.Things I'm not as excited about:-Only one small side pocket - in her previous bag I could put a water bottle on one side and her food/leash on the other side pocket - this one I can just hold a small baggie of food.-When expanded, the mesh seems a little flimsy so I worry about her being able to tear it easily with her paws. Since I keep the side "door" open and she can go in/out at will, that hasn't been an issue. But if you're using it for containment, it seems a dog or cat could rip through the mesh pretty easily if they don't like to be locked up.- The side door is super small - Cocoa has to bend down and it took a few tries for her to figure out getting in and out. If you have a bigger cat or dog, they may have trouble squeezing through on their own.

This has the perfect amount of room and we don't even have a hard time getting the cats to go in. They go in volunteerily and it's so easy to just leave it open. It's very useful when taking them to the vet or when traveling in the car on trips. If they get cramped all we have to do is unfold it and then they lay down easily. It's great having one that is adjustable due to how thick one of our cats is compared to the other one. (Part Mancoon) we don't just love it. Our cats do too.

You wouldn't think a cat would enjoy being in a backpack at least that's my experience from my previous pets however my kitten that I have now absolutely loves this. And even plays in it when I don't have him placed in it. I get a lot of compliments when they see my beautiful fur baby in the bubble to include that he looked like a space cat. And I love that. The vet gets a kick out of it every time I bring him in as well lol. As a cat owner we all know the truth is it's going to be up to your fur baby whether or not you can use this however my little kitten has allowed me to use it for him. It's durable and has been fun to use.

She likes to lay in this all the time on the living room floor. She's a bit of a chunky girl, so I was a little worried she would struggle with the doorway, but she has no problem with either of her harnesses. Though, she does have to crouch a bit, which makes me worry that it could be bad for her back.She fell in love with this bag immediately. In fact, I was worried she was stuck inside because after I put her in it and zipped it up, she stayed inside for a fair amount of time. So I took her out, and next thing I know, she's back inside and took one of her kick toys with her.Sometimes she talks at me through the bubble.

My cat loves this backpack. I figured he would since he loves his stroller. He took to the backpack very quickly. He never liked carrier's and took to this very well. He has plenty of room inside it (he is an 8lbs cat). The backpack itself is very sturdy and well made. Product is as advertised. The polarized shell is more of a dark gray than the green/brown it looks like in the ad (which I'm happy about). My only complaint is my polarized shell already had 2 scratches on it when I got it out of the box, nothing too crazy that made me send it back but they were there nonetheless. Also has seemed to scratch kinda easily in general, BUT that's fine because it hasn't cracked or broke and my cat is still happy and safe in it. On the plus side I believe the shells are replaceable if worst comes to worst.

Very very nice. Loved the sun protection (beige one). But even w the mostly enclosed area she had asthma right out the door. Too bad. Quality item. Versatile. Go for a walk and fold out to create a nice small hangout for cat picnics.

The backpack was easy to assemble and seems to have held up on functionality when walking my cat. Yay for them not being smushed like past backpacks used for cats. However, no matter what animal you have in the carryon either walk your animal in the cool hours of the day with a fan blowing on them or during the more winter months or something that’s cool since there is limited air flow. My cat ended up overheating and got sick on a short walk with the air vents open since my free Halifer fan was broken when I got my product. I would suggest buying a fan that will last for your pet friend to stay cool. Overall, the backpack works well and is super cute. I think with at minimum one fan or possibly two blowing on my cat during walks it will work well then other carryons used before. I let my cat get used to the product before our walks and they enjoyed sitting in the backpack when it was folded out like in a tent format. Backpack works well and better than the free fam product.

It's not the quality I expected, but it's okay.

Simply love this product. My cats instantly loved it and it is extremely convenient to use as opposed to the traditional hard shelled carriers. My cats feel safe and comfortable. Worked like a charm especially for vet appointments. Must buy!!

I found that the bottom was not soft enough for longer stays in the back pack, the Velcro pad was not fitting to the floor . My cat enjoys to get into it and stay

J'étais sceptique, mais la qualité de construction est très bien. Plus facile de mettre mon chat and ce sac que dans une cage. Pratique ue pour le vélo, les gens sont content de voir un chat.

He likes going for walks with me. Sometimes he will meow and I think the first time made him a bit disoriented as he hid under the couch after but now he seems to like it and will even go sit in it on his own
