Genuine Ford Parts - Camera Asy (EL3Z-19G490-D)

I ordered part #EL3Z-19G490-D. The box had the correct part number but the camera inside the box was part #EL3T-19G490-AA.I emailed the seller and will update this review based on their response.UPDATE: quick response (like within 30 minutes) from the seller! They assured me it was the correct part even though the numbers are different. It does fit and it does work. Backup lines are present. No zoom function though. I never used the old zoom so to me, it’s worth the savings. Would be 5 stars if zoom worked.

This was exactly what I needed. I have a 2012 F150 XLT with the back up camera in the rear view mirror. The guidelines stopped working first, then the camera itself was intermittent at best. Eventually it did not work at all and I would just get a blue screen. I checked the connectors first and they were fine so my next option was to replace the camera. I looked at the cheaper aftermarket cameras first but decided on this one because it was a Ford genuine part and I wanted to make sure it worked the way it was supposed to. From beginning to end the installation process took 15 minutes. Be sure to purchase the Ford nameplate though, as this will be needed because the tabs will break on the original one when you remove it to get to the camera. Great product. Works perfect now.

I had my local Ford dealership quote me a new replacement camera for my 2013 F150 King Ranch. This camera is the same pn but approx half the price of the dealership quoted one. Install was simple and easy, only took about 15 mins. It plugs right in to the existing wiring harness and it works perfectly. Check out YouTube for an instructional video. Also you should order a new Ford oval or plan to superglue the original back on as the prongs will definitely break when removing it.

Installed as expected. I did notice one thing, the curb lines in view with the original camera if I recall we're perspective, i.e. the converged the further from the truck they got and would align with the curbs, this camera doesn't, they go straight out and don't follow curb line. So you will need to use your side mirrors if you don't already. Don't understand it as this is supposed to be an OEM product. To bad there is no adjustments.

Great product! Replaced a faulty camera in about 5 minutes. You will have to buy a new Ford emblem and you will have to take it to a dealership to program the camera. But all in all, I spent less than half of what I was quoted to fix this. Highly recommend.

Easy to install. Don’t need holder. Back of emblem broke upon removal but it’s 10 yrs old. Could glue it back if that’s your style.

Replaced my defective rear camera on my used 2013 F150 Limited.Worked right out of the box. Arrived in good shape.Fortunately the camera had already been replaced so I didnt have to replace the Ford emblem.

Has all of the lines, like the green, yellow and red, and black dashed for the center but does not zoom

I does what it is supposed to do. I wish I had done this earlier. Easy to install after watching a YouTube video.
